5. Who was captain of the state U/16 team at the 1997 National Championships? who also played in that team from Mallees?
6. Who were the coaches of the 97 Grand Final teams?
7. Name a current player that has played for 3 clubs in PL?
8. Which team finished third after the minor round in 2000? Who was their coach?
9. Who were the two teams that didn't make the finals in 2000?

TRR it was gold. Thanks must go to Rusty Boylan for his contribution. Fine effort.

No worries, if they have named 17 I guess thats what they are going with. I hope they can muster up a couple more.

Here's an example of the difference between PL and GF for committment. Simon Pedler was sore before last weeks interleague game but wanted to play. P Boxer urged him to rest and be right for the week after. He really wanted to play and did, he has now pulled up to sore to play for Ramblers this week and will miss (much to coaches dismay)!! There is also the issue of wanting to play at the highest standard possible, EP footy, and that had a lot to do with his decision. Guess most PL players, City in particular, aren't interested in pushing themselves and are more than happy to dominate at local level and collect their cheques. Thoughts.....

From Covey's list, probably only 5 could be incorrect and for question 6 I don't think Jonesy was coaching then.

Juddy sounds right for No. 4.

Got no idea for No. 6 maybe Haydn Davey

I am almost certain Bostons fininshed 3rd after the minor round in 2000 Not sure who their coach was though. Tasmans defeated them in the first semi though. If it was Tasmans who finished 3rd their coach was Ron Simpson.
