Haydyn Davey is correct.
Wayback forward was more noted as a pocket player, vetran who kicked straight.

well interesting reading, been on the death bed all week finally got on here for a ganda, looks like after all the private messages, emails, sms's OL has definetly been rustling some feathers. Anyway i think the forum as a team should perhaps go about trying to find his identity instead of just one person or two, going to be an awsome discovery once found out!

JOB was the one I was thinking of when I put the question out....
Pat Koopman coached reserves at Souths, when not given the top job he went to Bostons. Played a couple of games for Geelong reserves I think. Definatly had a wild streak!

Just got home from B vs W. (didnt bother staying for 3rd quarter!) Bostons would have been lucky to finish the game off, with the amount of injuries occuring.
After looking at some of the junior grades, i notice that there are a few good young talents on their way up. But there is still a lot more room for improvement at this stage as A grade just looked like a training drill to me. Waybacks going from one end to the other without a Tiger touching them!

comfortable win for the dees yesterday against a determined tiger outfit...definately some better signs there but a long journey still. The bigger wayback bodies created havoc with the younger and smaller tigers and the stretcher got a massive work out during the day. From a dees perspective, the day ws soured with a knee injury to Schuppas mid way thru the last. Preliminary reports positive, but didn't look good, and the guy was devastated at the club last night. Fingers crosssed for him...positive, the return of DR, Darren G given a bit more reign and cutting loose and young guys Cole Blesing, Rory Sheehy,The Hyphen and co doing their bit.
Late tiger reports in the B Grade showed that while the culture is changing, change is slow and there is still an element at the club that needs to be removed. In the space of 5 minutes, we were treated to (1) a crude late charge on one of our kids after he kicked the ball, (2) An attempted elbow that luckily missed after disposal (3) A solid right jab to the left cheek which dropped our captain (4) an off the ball incident which required one of our players to come off with blood streaming from a gash below the eye (5) one player felled when he remonstrated after the above incident and then kicked in the head while he was on the ground...These incidents involved the same 3 tiger players and resulted in 2 red cards....after the second red card, the B grade coach vented his fury at umpire hegarty with a vitriol that I am sure will require further investigation....and I believe that one of the players involved (but not carded) was listed by BR as a 'not wanted'when he came to the club...maybe should have listened to him...

Good game at Centenary with the winner hidden until the last 15 minutes of the game... a rareity these days in the PLFL. Tasmans too good 8 goal to 2 last half, hard at it and those freah legs told in the end. Are there only going to be 6 games this year where the winner is unknown? W v MR 3 times? and LS v Tas 3 times?
Just have to vent my spleen on the umpiring at HQ, Nugget had a bad day fair enough it happens I can understand that but does anyone know who that other bloke was he was a control freak and ruined a good game. Apparently he was a replacement for Gary Jones who sustained an injury during the second term. I think we will hear more on this umpire.
There was a particular incident that happened and it involved a BLATANT elbow to the head. A Lincoln South player was being tackled from behind with tha ball and a Tasman player has come in front on with elbow raised and collected the player in the face resulting in him flattened and down for some time and off with the blood rule. Now we all know you can cop an elbow, its part of the game. If you have the ball and try to fend someone off often the elbow slipps up, thats fine if you have the ball. But to pick some one off is wrong and has sent a clear message that anyone can go round doing this sort of stuff and all that will happen will be a pultry free kick. If he had have come in nwith a shirt front - fine. In all honesty this would have resulted in a 4-5 match suspension in the AFL it was that obvious. Nugget was within 10 -15 meters of the incident and decided it was only worth a free kick.
Get the angle grinder out fellas and sharpen up your elbows you can get away with it.
I like the way MJ plays, great leader and ball winner but put an asterix next to his name in the POTY btb. He's out!
Bostons not happy about there young lad who got knocked out and will take the matter further with the league apparently? Did u see it btb?

Assume it was young thorpe that was stretchered off in the first qtr...happened on the far HFF so I didn't get a clear view of it, but thought it was in the play. Was tackled and stayed down...wasn't a lot of remonstation at the time...He came back on after half time so cant have been too bad....

Also full credit to Biggles and his under 17's...Play a good brand of disciplined footy which will hold the club in good stead for the future...Our club was very impressed with him and his boys...well done.

Speaking of Boston youngsters, heard that Joel Harvey was back for the weekend but couldn't get a permit to play. Reason......the request came from Marble Range!!!!!!.......confirm or deny panther/eski?
