Blackfriars play their little ground really well, haven't taken much notice of their record on the road, is there some injuries out at Plympton, I notice their B's have dropped off a little aswell.

probably because i dont play at plympton now :D

Trouble in paradise??

Great win Kookas over Rosies. Rosies must have had the game won before they even got there!! Hence the 7 -0 drubbing in the first quarter.

No surprise GG by a few over Smithfield

Elizabeth by plenty :o Not quite the win I expected

Greenies must have rested some players to allow the units to get that close!!

The hounds accounted for a disappointing Red dog!

What can we expect this week from the Jekyll & Hyde show at Rosewater?? :D

I reckon they'll knock Greenies off and Elizabeth will defeat Blackfriars, all the rest seem straight forward.

Home grounds are a huge advantage in amateur footy, Kookas can obviously put it togeether at times, they knocked the Farmers off at Ingle Farm, as you stated, Rosies are a bit of a Jekyll & Hyde, they probably did count their chickens before they hatched.

The last few rounds have made it hard to gauge though, a bit of everything.

Think the kookas will have a better 2nd half of the year, had alot of injuries in the first half and I think you will find even the b's scores over the past few weeks have improved muchly aswell. Time will tell but if Kenilworth can go to Smithfield and be competative (Maybe win) we will be 1 game and percentage out of the 5  . Perhaps getting ahead of myself but thats the facts. Think we need to concentrate on winning 3 out of our next 6 to avoid relegation first.

Think you will find that Rosewater has never played well at Kenilworth. I know at training Thursday night we were quietly confident of knocking them off in both grades (Draw in the 2's)

GG will finish top
Greenies don't seem to be travelling that well but should be top 3
The blacks, Rosies and Smithfield to make up the five
Red dogs to just miss out
Elizabeth to finish where they are now but may shape the five.
The Kookas to avoid relegation just
The farmers and Units to Div 6

Judging by the remaining draw, if you went with the percentage of teams winning at home, it would appear the following at the end of the minor round.

GG 34
Greenies 24
Blacks 22
Plympton 22
Rosies 22
S'field 20
Elizabeth 18
K'worth 10
Farmers 8
Units 0

Away wins are going to be the key from here, beware of Elizabeth aswell, Dogsbreath gave a fair assessment.

Nah as bad as they are going there is still a few handy footballers in that side. Just no depth. But if they come up against a lower side who takes them lightly they may just get up if they play a blinder. They showed a bit against us,even though we were very ordinary after 1/4 time but that still takes nothing away from them. They made a bit of a struggle for Greenacres aswell, I'll put on a beer with someone they will get up before the years out (If they done it against Ingle Farm I know the Kenilworth fraternity would be greatly appreciative  )

I agree with your assessment but maybe the beer(and plenty of it) should go the units way if and when they do the farmers for you!!

Great idea  We gotta beat them both first, lets not get ahead of ourselves. I think think theres a few clubs around that know how spontaneous we can be on a week to week basis. Consistency is the key word though.

Rosewater without doubt are not playing to potential at all
the calabar of players they have switched on could match with top 2 not to say they could beat them but Match them!
Poor chappy leaves no stoned unturned when preparing and tries everything to get blokes up for a game
but with anyside if your not prepared to work hard things might not always go your way
numbers had been down at training last week and maybe that reflected on the saturday
Some like to say Arrogant, I like to say confident.

I think alot of clubs can say that though. One thing this year has shown for me is A; Golden Grove for me are the stand outs and so they should be, they will race through div 4 next year aswell. and B; No offence to Central United but all the other teams are capable of beating each other depending on their attitudes to the game. Results are starting to become more even on a week by week basis now where as the start of the year alot of teams were getting belted week in/ week out (Us included). I do think Centrals are capable of knocking the bottom 4 sides off but I doubt they can do better.

absolutely no doubt that our away draw in the next 8 weeks is tougher than the 10 thus far - elizabeth, rosewater, ingle farm, smithfield and golden grove. things are coming together though. the finish to the minor round is going to be a cracker, plenty of spots up for grabs in the 5. i'm hoping LM is on the money and our boys get a double chance. b's will go well too and be well placed to have a crack.

I didn't take into account the percentage, all three teams below you have a far superior percentage that you guys ATM. It is going to be a week by week thing from here on in, that's what it's all about though.
