A week is a long time in footy!
For some there are 9 games of the season left and others 10.
Who knows...9 wins may be good enough for the bottom of the final five to make the cut. In which case the Eagles may still play a significant role if they can win enough games out of their last nine. I think that 10 wins will be minimum for the 5, in which case having looked at the draw for North, Norwood and the Eagles, it is quite possible that the Eagles will pip Norwood by half a game. The draw with South to the legs could be telling.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

At this stage given the fact the Bays haven't lost a game since Round 2 at HO, Noarlunga my Market would be:

Glenelg: $2.75

Sturt $3.20

CD........$4.00

Having said that I remember the game at Brighton Rd., in June 2006, when an extremely under-manned Blues won by a point and hurt the Bays Finals' aspirations. The side we played that day was thin on ability compared to today's but what it lacked in raw ability it compensated with sheer courage and stamina.

It was a great performance by Sturt that day. :) :)

Sorry!

the thread is on the alleged favouritism for this Year's Holy Grail.

I stick by my comments. :D :D

Nobody from Glenelg, Sturt or Central wants to declare premiership favouritism, so it passes to the next cab off the rank, North Adelaide.

Good call, we're bold unlike those wussy Dogs, Bays and Sturt fans! We have it in the bag and all other clubs are making up the numbers! Can North go back to back in 09? ;)
