numbers had been down at training last week and maybe that reflected on the saturday

Maybe you should help "Poor Chappy" out then, you still have 6 days!!! :D

Interesting reading and predictions coming out.

Id expect us to lose a game or two somewhere. Which ones?? Im not sure.
Biggest dangers to us are elizabeth, greenies, rosewater and blacks id say. Plympton away will also be tough. We need to win four of those to stay top comfortably.

No doubt overall that smithfield are our bogey side. Wouldnt mind keeping them out of the 5. Id have more faith of our boys 'lifting' to the blacks occasion that a tight one against the smithy boys.

Your b's will be well placed for what ? a crack at second, I dont think anyone is going to get close to Golden Groves b grade, unless they have changed the rules and the rest of the comp battle it out for second place.
i dont know if you heard me, but i did over a thousand

i believe so. at home, season on the line after last week, they'll be up against it if they lose.
that game and ours against EFC are key games this week.
you've gone for greenacres by a fair bit i see.

It will be a good indication of where both teams are at, Rosies have a 3-1 record at home, they thrashed K'worth, Farmers and Plympton and lost by 25 points to GG. They have a 2-4 record away, one of them wins was against the Units, the other was an impressive 53 points against Elizabeth.

As for Greenies, it's hard to tell how they are sitting after the last 4 games, are they back yet?

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but word from inside Greenacres is that there is a fair bit of division within the club's playing group. This lack of unity will hurt them come finals.

If that is the case, it's hurting them already, I guess that's what happens when some players receive payments and others play for loyalty.

I think the entire team gets a $25 card to use at the club when they win. That's not bad for your average div 5 footballer.

I'm sure there are quite a few that were getting a fair bit on top of that, I wonder if the place is empty after a loss and the players have to spend their own money.

You're right though, it is pretty handy for a div. 5 club to get a $25 card per win, once that is spent and the players have the taste, they'll stick around and talk more about the game and how well they went.
