I think most people would be the same. But its hard to tell did Port play well last night or are Essendon really bad. I tend to think that Port played well and seem alot better side when Brogan is playing.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Essendon have been playing some good footy against good sides without being able to crack a win, but the last 2 times they have played sides with no form (Carlton & Port), they have played like sh!t.

Perrsonally I think Sheedy again is trying to con the football world

The Bombers current Injury list is

ESSENDON
Scott Camporeale (hamstring) 1 week
James Hird (hamstring) 2-3 weeks
Dean Rioli (knee) test
Aaron Henneman (shoulder) season
Matthew Lloyd (hamstring) season

The problem is, Sheedy has built his entire game plan around Mathew Lloyd and without him at the goal front THE ENTIRE SEASON HAS COME CRUSHING DOWN.....

Now if you take a look at the current side that ran out against the Power their is more then enough talent to be competitve

Essendon
Backs: Welsh Fletcher Lovett-Murray
Half-backs: Bolton McPhee M Johnson
Centres: Bradley Dempsey Solomon
Half-forwards: Lucas Johns Heffernan
Forwards: Stanton Hille Reynolds
Followers: Laycock McVeigh
Rover: Watson
Interchange: Lovett Winderlich Monfries Dyson

20 years at a club is a long time, maybe it's time for a new voice and fresh idea's

Pick those pr!cks and they lose, Don't pick em......

Just another reason why I hate those Bastards.......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Danyle Pearce, clearly along with Salopek(judgment reserved) have been our biggest improvers this year.
Nice of Hessington to run Tredders back into some form, thanks guys.
Brogan so important to our structure to allow Lade to sit in a pocket, and a more than handy second ruckman.
Wakelin,no less effective than 4 years ago,and at 30+ still a strong defender.
No real change to where Port are going to finish this year, but just out of the 8 with a few young blokes looking better,as long as the endevour showed on the weekend continues (?),not looking as bad as it was 3 weeks ago.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Interesting reading Jarman's thoughts, he claims Pearce can be better then Mcleod, that is a huge wrap

In regards to the Bombers, Sheedy and his recruiting team have made some appauling decisions

Since the Bombers 2000 premiership, their only real success at the draft table has been Hille who was selection 40 in 2000

But since they have wasted their selections

2000 draft
the bombers top two picks used on James Davies at 17, who managed just three games, and then Ted Richards (pick 27)

2001
traded pick 18 for Shane Harvey
Pick 31 was used on Reynolds
Andrew Welsh at pick 47

2002
the Bombers chose Jason Laycock and Jason Winderlich at picks 10 and 11 respectively
they used their third pick on Darren Walsh played just two games.

2003
The Bombers traded valuable draft picks for recycled players from other clubs, they recruited ageing Carlton pair Matthew Allan and Justin Murphy and Mark Alvey from the Bulldogs - all now gone from the list having played barely 50 games between them for Essendon.
