Why would they piss the coach off and then get him back just before deadline? Makes no sense to me..

Not the coach returning Chicky, some players that were disgruntled with the former coach are returning.

Very very true Big Shrek....Season defining week in Dic 3 this one.

Walkies will be our first of three huge challenges in the back half of the year (along with Kilburn and Flinders away)

Flinders and Kilburn will be huge with plenty of fire.....Watch out Shrek!!!!! I think Flinders will get up.

The rest I am not too fussed about but these two games will be huge. Walkies are on fire, Eastern park will enjoy playing on a bigger deck. definately will be close and we can;t afford to give them a ten goal head start like last time.....

Flinders by 11-24

Boozehound has been very quiet here lately. I have it on very good authority that Carey Payne gave him the old "keep your mouth shut" talk, and boozehound is now restricted to making mundane comments such as the size of ovals and the like.

C'mon boozehound! Break the shackles!

HAHAHA thats gold, nah no such direction from the coach....he finds the gossip on here pretty amusing.

What would you like me to say Shrek.....? Maybe that I have heard that there are some seriously disgruntled people down Kilburn way because of the huge amounts being paid to some players....Some are missing out and want their share of the love. a couple are talking to other clubs and there may be a clearance in today!!!!

Heard on the grapevine last night that a ex leauge footballer who has gone of the rails, has approached Kilburn
Not sure if Ocka is keen about the idea, but the player has been talking to him wanting his help to get his career back on track
If said player, got fit and his head right, would be a great asset to Kilburn's final campaign

That player wouldn't be Ricky O'laughlin  from Greg Phillips " Virginia " by any chance would it f-f?
Now lets see how good Ocker is getting this clearance.

Witnessed my first Div 3 match of the year today. Without naming teams, i could not believe the blatantly biased display of umpiring i saw in the B grade. This bloke had no interest in umpiring the match, but simply found every way possible to help his club through his decision making (and by the way, his club was a much better side and didn't need this kind of help).

Is this a problem in all club umpired games, or are these type of umpires the exception rather than the rule?

The club umpires system is terrible for the game. You really get some pretty biased stuff out there. But theres not alot anyone can do about it. The umpiring system at the moment is in trouble and the SAAFL need to put a bit of time and effort into this area. I have a few ideas about how this can be improved.
