you got his esky lol :)) we also call him paddlepop lion..

yeah wes is floating around and kicking some nice bags..wherever he goes players seem to fall down around him, and dont go near him in the shower..he puts everyone to shame :)

they are real top lads though and do all the club things..the club has never had any trouble from them..had the 3rd brother at training last night..hes just smaller than wes..not by much tho

Yeah, Stevo was superb, kicking 9 as an on-baller was a great effort. The wind was very deceiving aswell. Don't generally get northerly's there, you could't feel it from the sideline but was very strong out there. Kenilworth fought hard for the whole game, Smithfield have been finishing games well over the past month or so.

The same thing happened in the b's aswell, Kenilworth kept coming back like they did last time, but Smithfield kicked 11 in the last quarter.

I don't think the score really reflected on how you guys played.

Looks like Greenies are back, a solid 9 goal win against Rosies, Blackfriars done well too, knocking off Elizabeth at Argana Park, should be a great match out at St. Dominic's oval this week. Plympton seem to have hit their straps again too.

yeah that wind must have been deceiving, we couldnt feel anything from the sidelines..we didnt deserve a 13 goal loss but the scores never lie..and you cant change it

Nice to have a chat to ya on the weekend bondy, I have seen you around for a few years including amateur league U17's association squad a few years ago. I agree that we controlled a fair share of both games, but when Smithfield got on top they kicked goals very quickly. I was saying on the sidelines in the second quater when we were 5 goals up and said one more goal might be cruical, then 5 minutes later that turnover in defence that Zedman spoke about changed the game. We are just too patchy in both grades and it has cost us 4 games in the B's and I reckon 2-3 games in the A's for the year.

u2 LK. i just keep popping up around the place but trying to stay out of trouble!!! LOL. I must say it was one of the weirdest games of football ive played on in my career. As mentioned, to kick 19 goals of our 23 at the creek end ive never seen before. Btw, thanks for giving me a mate to follow me around on saturday zedman :)

Add to that 9 out of our 10 aswell..........If only we kicked straight in the first quater. Mind you the b's were the same with a vast majority being scored up the 1 end.

Have heard a rumour or 2 that the SAAFL could be going to north and south next year aswell. Div 1 would stay the same but after that it would be D2 N,D2 S,D3 N and D3 S and so on. Dont ask me details as it is just a rumour, but it has come from a reliable source. I'd say if it doesnt happen next year it may come in over the next few years. Nothing in concrete though.

you looked like you wanted someone to talk to bondy :)

you killed us last time so i suggested a shadow might stop you a bit :) and we didnt forget about taylor..just had no-one who could run with him..he was just like platten..very very fast and fit

gotta mention that guy who got sent off late...very funny..we all knew he was going to throw the ball at that guy but didnt believe he would do it..:)

LK: i agree..we said if we got one more to go 6 up we would have killed them off..15 minutes with no goals and then we hand one to them on a platter...cost us big time

some handy info there zedman. platten was pretty good on saturday for elizabeth. so if taylor is similar then our lads will have to make sure they cover him in a few weeks time. switala and king were pretty tough to keep under control on saturday as well.

was a tough game and our boys copped a few injuries in the 1st quarter so they were up against it all day.

yeah sprint..we copped another bad injury as well, thats 5 longtermers in 2 weeks and we cant afford that...platten is playing super footy atm..switala never gets a touch when we play elizabeth..he has a shadow who wants him every game :)..macnamara had been going well for elizabeth as well..always a tough game at argana park sprint..good win mate

Surely that has to be the worst idea in history. It would just lower the standard of each division. Rather than having 7 reasonabley balanced divisions we would have 14 unbalanced ones.

I couldn't see it happening, it was like that in the mid nineties and teams were getting pumelled. Nothing's broken at the moment so it should be left alone.

The travelling is part of the fun, it's not too bad for you there hawkseye, you're pretty central, Trinity to Westminster or CLG is pretty long journey.

But yeah, if they're going to sook, car pool.
