i think its very mature of some people on this forum to call tom lipson (who i pressume your talking about) a reject when i know for a fact all you portland people would love to have him playing in the Forward pocket of your A's, hes averaging about 2 goals a game i reckon which isnt a bad return.
and if hes a reject i might just rattle of a few names that are playing at SANFL clubs that portland have lost there allignment with over the last couple of years.
trent moody, josh moody, tom lipson, mathew sharpe, luke harder, jarrod wareing, brenton wanganeen, josh taylor and jared petrenko.

and there just off the top of my head.
might be just my opinion but something doesnt seem right there

at this present moment a few of these players have no alignment to any amatuer league club
u wont see the likes of taylor or patrenko at any amatier league clubs
harder trained at portland just a few weeks ago and would have played but was going home to have a game.
Where is trent moody playing at the moment
i think you will find its 1st 18's and ports???

harder cleared from portland signed at marble range.

heard that the youngest hood played his first game last week and looked alright.
will portland have a defender fast enough to stay with A 16 year old that can run all day and is smart arond the goals

We have 6 of those type of defenders...they are all playing U16's though !

yeah guess but he could bob up and kick 4 or 5 this week

moody will be a player that no amatuer league club will see much of till he is older
he will play alot of league or reserves in my opinion!!

they are all welcome and we hope they come back to the club after there dreams are fulfilled!!!!!!

what im saying is these players are no longer singned to portland and resigned at other clubs. so when all there ambitions higher end, why would they go back to a club that they already left for what ever reason.
thats what im getting at
