Well moving right along, I reckon the GG v Greenies game will be a ripper. I reckon GG will get the points though.

Geez Hounds your right...a pity the rest of the comp aren't as disciplined and fair as the Blacks.

I guess the greenies player that needed stiches must have tripped on his bootlaces and hit the back of his head!!

And yes the Blacks did have a lot of shots on goal but from my POV 2 still ended up on the wrong side of the score card and another nearly joined them except the central ump stepped in and questioned the decision.. which was changed...maybe after the goal ump heard the question???

I like the sound of that but am less optimistic of a 'pumping'
Whats your thinking behind tipping us for the big win?

Will be a belter of a game. Darkins back in this week should bolster the ruck. Some players really starting to find some form. Im excited about saturday. Should put into perspective where we really are.

we all know exactly where you are..at the top with an awesome b grade to cover your depth..you are overwhelming favourites to win the flag..you will beat greenacres this week..play one final and go str8 into the gf with promotion to div 4 and then most likely win the flag v greenacres..see, easy :)

And here I thought Kenilworth were going to win their last 6 games, sneak into the 5 and win the GF from the elimination final!

It sounds that easy doesn't it but we all know finals are a bit of a different game whent hey come around.

It's also at greenies this week so should be an interesting game.

dogs : LOL, mate 2 wins is all we want..not being greedy..just 2 will do

LM : imho i think smithies, bos or plympton could all challenge for the gf berth v gg..it will be the better team on the day..hard to split those 3 clubs and maybe the home oval may favour one over the other with greenies just above them but not by much..schallelehn must be back soon for greenies as well

I have to agree GG will be in Vs Greenies, Blacks or Smithfield, I don't think the Red Dogs are up to it!

yeah correct blacks it is at greenies..my bad on an earlier post i thought it was at gg..i expect some fireworks..i rate greenies as the hardest hitting team in the comp..not to say gg are not hard, they are, but i think greenies will relish the close in stuff on their small oval and with the rain this week it will make it a real tough slog..gg skill factor will prevail imo but i think there will be some real sore boys after this game

I seen encouraging chinks in their armour to not be counting the chickens yet. Despite their very impressive B grade record, they also can be beaten.

Their A's thoroughly deserve the "favourites" tag at this stage, but there's still plenty of footy to go this year. It has been a great season so far when you look at the amount of teams that are still in contention, it seems to happen in div 5 a bit. A couple of years back, if we won the last game we would've been minor premiers, we lost and ended up 4th or 5th.

Blackfriars oval seems to have the most influential home ground advantage, they'll have to put up with neutral goal umps come finals time  I wonder how that'll suit considering they beat Rosies by 1 point, Smithfield by 10 & drew with Greenies, all at home.
