5 bowlers..?
Guessing Tremlett would be omitted from the starting XI?

Graeme Smith must be the most stupid man on the planet. He rocks up to Lords (a seamers' wicket) with an underdone PACE attack and inserts the Poms on what turns out to be a decent deck. Then he rotates his bowlers in ridiculously short spells so they can't get into a rythm (including a couple playing in their first test in England). In the end he's got Kallis bowling miles outside the offstump during THE FIRST SESSION! 3 for 300, good night folks. You EEEEEEEEEEEEEDIOT STIMPY!! Fair dinkum.

Have always considered Ian Bell a very overrated cricketer.
2591 runs at 41.79 (before this Test), with seven centuries (averages a century every ten innings) and 18 fifties (just under every four innings).
His averages against the decent bowling attacks are 25.10 (v Australia), and 26.75 (v India). He has not scored a century against those sides.
The South African attack simply isn't what it used to be, and that shows, with a substandard cricketer performing as he did.

Well if its a flat deck then SA should also get a decent score. I dont think sidebottom, Anderson etc are going to terrify the SA batsmen. But then again, get an early one and they might fall over.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
