The worst part of Blueys coloumn was who's going to dry the jumpers socks and shorts and the section about opening up Oceans nightclub for the players for recovery during the day. While I admire Bluey for being a straight down the line bloke he is in dreamworld.

I have to jump in here and defend the GM. It is easy to sit here and rubbish him and while a couple of his selections maybe from left field and the odd fairytale story he does promote the game and get people talking about football. I admire him for putting his hand up and having a go! He is passionate about the game and Lincoln South, anyone doubting that can sit with him on the bench when he coaches.
For people in the media to be having cheap shots at the GM, certain clubs and the new Ravendale Complex is wrong and wipes out any credibility they have or had. Lets give them a go.
(I will print what I have written and give to the GM at training tonite - might get in the best players this week- lol)
