If you're annoyed at petrol/oil prices be glad cars don't run on household gas...I'm glad I stayed all electric...power and heating etc...

Anger over £1bn Centrica profits

Consumer groups have expressed anger as British Gas owner Centrica revealed £5m-per-day profits, after announcing a record price hike on Wednesday.

Profits were £992m in the first six months of 2008, down 20% from £1.23bn a year earlier, with the firm blaming higher wholesale gas prices.

On Wednesday, British Gas raised gas bills by 35% with immediate effect, to restore "reasonable profitability"...

i wish the price of fuel would come down as quick as it goes up. it seem that when the price of a barrel of oil falls the ships take five weeks to get to australian pumps but when it goes up the ship only takes five minutes to sail to aussie pumps. i guess at least the price has come down a little but its still to high. oil companies still have motorist over a barrel!!!!!
