not happy!

i am happy to point out "live" on radio - if I think the GM has mis-reported something......just as he is more than happy to print if we've buggered up as well!!

Thats just friendly banter! - and he knows that!

i think u made a typo - and when u wrote "People in the media" - I think you made have meant to write - "people in this medium".......

Well we have been busy here, haven't we? Don't you people have jobs?? lol. Biggles, how did selections go? or are going straight to work from the selection table?? lol.
With the kids issue i thought i'd put in my "2 cents", It's obviously a tough call exactly what to do, but i think if you have a kid/kids in there last year or 2 of juniors they need to play at least some senior games just for the experience so that when they are to old (for juniors), it's not such a dawnting task to play in the seniors. If they're that good where they are in the 18 best you have, & MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE KID IS KEEN, then play them in the A's, but they must want to play there, if you make them then you risk losing them, not only to other clubs, but the game entirely.

Any surprises from the selection tables? If the injury/not playing reports for W are true, I may be swayed to back the Roosters...man, that hurts.

I disagree TRR - I reckon the Glenelg quote from 1980 Tassie Medallist is the funniest thing I've read on this forum

Why did we all swap training venues last nite? Who decided this? We play at Poole next game, can we send Bostons to Centenary and we train at Poole on the Thurs nite? How do you see it rossco/btb/boags/cove? What do you think of getting kicked off your oval? Giving the opposition a look?
You guys might want to train at Mallees before next game?

The PLFL decided at the start od the season that whoever was the home team for Ravendale matches would have use of Ravendale East for Thursday nite training....LS only have one home game there against us in R15, so I suppose we change ovals for that nite...For R 6 and 8 which are T home games there, and none of us involved, the presidents of LS & W will toss a coin at HQ on the Monday night B4 to determine who shifts.....we call heads.

BTW....I think the Western oval was in far better nick than the 'game oval'....the 'Wayback' pocket resembled a quicksand scene from a B Grade horror movie....make sure you have plenty of ropes and planks on board tomorrow to rescue unwitting travellers.

Stewie Green needed to be pulled out last night, very lucky

This whole Oval swapping is a joke.. Bout time Tas/Way/LS and the league had a civilised meeting and sorted it out once and for all. Having all 3 clubs roll up to Ravendale last night was hopeless.

Had my 1st look at the "Sellen Towers" as BTB has called it and was very impressed.. Time will tell whether some of you armchair critics will be proven right.. Might be a real kick in the guts for a few if it takes off and becomes a huge success..

After last nights selections:-

rock, paper, scissors would be fairer. No one was told of the venue changes, no organization again! Did the Tasie boys get lost out there.... send out a search party!!!!

Beware Panther, it is reported that the league has approved a request by the Lincoln based clubs to train at Wangary on the Thursday nite before they play out there. Rangers to train at Coulta!!!

Spoken like a true Tasman scoob...can tell you that I hope it is a success....if it wasn't and Tassy's folded, would take all the fun out of the PLFL...

Yeah right, like Lincoln sides would drive to Wangary twice in a week. Some would think they are Hemmingway....

Did the Magpie tell you where he was playing?

Tasmans with their Council connections will no doubt end up with the main Ravendale oval. The scraps will be left to Souths and Waybacks to fight over! and wont that be good to see ! the 2 'richest' clubs in the league fighting over scraps.
For going behind the leagues back Tasmans should be forced to train at Centenary and stay there! also making them drink with hockey people after games could be another good punishment!
