good to see Bayman and Mal at the fence just before the start of the 4th - great attire boys

R5 - 2 Julies Equity won't miss a place (I expect it to lead and hand up to 5)
R8 - 7 Stunning Bird will be just too good for these.

Good Luck

SUGGESTED BETTING STRATERGIES
I suggest for whoever has a NSW/VIC TAB account
Take the quaddie tonight races 4567
the last leg is ANANZ [5]
That makes the quaddie effectively a Treble

BETFAIR LAYS
R2-2
R7-3
Both cant win
If either win I will ban myself for 30 days from posting on SAFOOTY

go you good things!!!!!!!!!

Make that 44 Betfair lays in a row
ANANZ leads all the way and paid a phenoMinAL dividend $1-10

I had a committment tonight and had my bets and then went out
I got the treble
I got every double
I got every Quad in every state
and wouldja believe I lost for the night
8 favs got up in the 1st 8 races

Was the worst most booring night of trots I've seen in years, best race of the night by a mile was the claimer and it had the betting pool to prove the punters thought so as well.

Our southern cross series is so bad it needs to be watered down with REAL races. Can you believe we have to put up with this rubbish next week as well and i reckon next week could be even worse. We simply dont have the quality of numbers to base an entire nights racing around our southern cross horses. Our southern cross series should be a non tab meeting thats run on a Sunday afternoon, the less people that see how bad it is the better.

Look at the turnover Bayman, you "punters" arnt punting. Not on UNIflab anyway and unfortunately thats where most of our industry money comes from. I reckon an Ethiopian sand farmer would turnover more $$$$ than Globe Derby trots. You keep talkin like " us punters this " and " us punters that " mate, you punters are not the be all and end all of the industry, sure no punters no money blah blah blah blah blah ! weve heard it all before infact its becoming booring and you so called punters give yourselves far too much credit.

Bayman, short priced faves winning nearly every race may have been good for you but it doesnt mean its good for the industry in fact im pretty sure its quite bad for the industry.

I like to have a considerable bet now and again but i wouldnt consider myself a "punter" depends on your definition i guess. I like to keep it simple and couldnt be bothered with exotics. And as far as industry goes i get of my arse and bet ON COURSE.

IRONMAN
If I bet on Unitab I understand a certain % of turnover is distributed to SA trots
If I bet on Supertab/NSWTAB does the club get any commisions or less commisions ?

EARLYBIRD TIP FOR MONDAY
R5-1 MUSTANG HARRY simply leads all the way and will be very hard to beat
Looks a special to WIN

Golden boy suspended !!!!!! not possible, couldnt be , are you sure ? well he must have just about killed someone and if he did get a holiday dont worry he will probably appeal - it will cost him nothing, we will hear nothing about it and he will keep on driving.

Mal

I believe non Unitab turnover returns a fraction of what Unitab does.

I've been getting off my arse for 25 years and punting on course at GDP although not as regularly these days as there is really NO incentive for the serious punter to attend anymore and even when i do go (went last night) i bet about 90% on interstate Tabs simply bcos they offer a better product.
i'd like to bet more on the local Tab to support the local racing industries but i'd only be sacrificing $$$$$$ in my pocket if i did.
The FACT is that whilst S.A. remains with Australias INFERIOR betting ageny UNITAB it will continue to struggle to get their fair share of the punting dollar exacerbating the woes of the local racing industries.
