Not sure what the actual report for Franger is - i will find out more Tues night. He was involved in a scuffle with a CBC player, both were sent off - Dylan red card, CBC bloke yellow card. Happened about 10 minutes into first quarter, so we were without him for basically the whole game.

Funnily enough, the CBC bloke who got yellow carded gave us a nice old spray as he went back on after 10 minutes, only to be yellow carded for a second time soon after for having a crack at someone else. Needless to say, he was pretty quiet as he came off the ground, this time for good !

Didnt you blokes try to do that last year with Salisbury, and it all got arsed up - C's playing against B's, and vice-versa.

correct me if i'm wrong, are umpires still getting paid for reporting players, (was this the case a few years back) it would explain why so many soft reports are ending up at tynte st.

early start at salisbury 10am half the C/grade couldn't make it on time so 1/2 the B/s ran out for them and then some of the A graders pulled out, so some B/graders got the call up. so a lot of the first game players played in the 2nd game and 1 bloke actually played in all 3 games. one big f@ck up.

Depends what his intentions are i suppose.

And what type of weapon he is carrying...

Seriously, i dont think it is, but if they asked him to leave and he didnt, then it could be an issue.

They certainly were in 06. But it's a bit of travel money - perhaps that equates to less with petrol prices. I know of several umpires in my day who wouldn't report players because they wanted to keep their Wednesday night's free.

no sure, i have been in with umpires after a game (paoc) to talk about the byrnes clash with bruiser, and they were happy to chat about it, i think so long as it is a normal conversation it is ok, but to go in abusing them is a different story

No, but I asked if it was ok if I asked a question prior to asking it (if that makes sense) just to make sure.

They could then turn me away if it was against the rules.

I asked them the question politely, they answered it and I shook their hand and left.

B's and A's will probably play an hour earlier than usual. The C grade will probably play around 4 or 4:30
