yes, I'll never forgive myself for handballing blindly- that's what pressure & lack of options moving forward does.

I'll agree with your comments about #6.
Given that AU Runner has been evicted from the game 2 weeks in a row, what disciplinary action will the coach/club take, if any?
Whithout harping on, his conduct was the worse than anything the players from either side did.

Number 1 for Fitzroy (bald, old & fat) is an absolute knob. Hardly touched the ball, went around trying to hit kids. This bloke is a sad sad man - Fitzroy could do without him as he detracted from their otherwise very fair & talented players.
The tall #11 for Fitzroy has some talent...
For uni, Ebbs was great as was Mitchell. Colbatch was kept quiet but the red head on the half forward flank looked dangerous.
Was a scrappy affair.
Think Fitzroy would benefit from a smaller ground. Uni are very very young.

Ok, #1 isn't fat, the rest is just your opinion.
Given that you're taking a moral high ground, what did you think of Uni's Runner man-handling Fitzroy players, & squirting 1 in the face with powerade?

#16 for Fitzroy was very courageous to come back on after that sickening head clash....

I agree, #16 does have a sickening head...

i'm sure that the chair will have a quiet word as will I. didn't know it was two weeks in a row and i'm not sure that the chair knows either - what happened week one?

The previous week the AU runner was sent off for abusing the Pultney umpire* from the sideline.

Unfortunately the twit who was umpiring the game only heard the call, not who said it.

Turns out the bloke who yelled at the umpire was in fact a player. The runner had nothing to do with it.

*a loose description - the bloke is a muppet

Actually the runner wasn't sent off, as he was already off the field.

The umpire refused him admission!! Like a nightclub bouncer!

any Pultney OS people like to comment on what happened at 3/4 time in the Pultney huddle?
1 player handing in his jumper & leaving the field, with another going out in sympathy?
I believe both returned (even if reluctantly)- there appears to be a lot of turmoil within?
Coach clashing with the players, or vice versa?

Nothing to see here punky, just a bit of a fire up speech that went wrong. Next week when a huddle is called we will be scrambling to get to the back of the pack to avoid further damage

Congratulations to Fitzroys Greg Obst on his 300th game last weekend tremendous effort!

I thought his coach would of given him a mention on this achievement hey Punky?

With all 3 grades winning for the 1st time on the same day last week!

Big Kev kept his promise & put on a keg & good to see the boys enjoy!

Lets get 3 wins in the same day again down in the Lions Den this round!
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

As previously stated a fire up speach that went wrong. An attempt made to fire up players for last quarter that backfired. There was plenty of frustration by players which is expected due to our poor form of late especially in that game. We should have put it up to Fitzroy and it didnt happen. All dealt with now and Pulteney will be back in action. Watch out Luthies come Saturday..

From my mouth as Pulteney Co-coach

it will work fine, 5 C graders need to be promoted to their correct grade and get some forward momentum towards the finals. No doubt there is 2 A graders to come back into the A's then there you go problem solved
