I'll be seein' ya at Kenilworth this week, still undecided whether first or 2nd half though..

agree turk..gg arent in a slump at all..win by 10-12 goals
smithies and elizabeth should fall smithies way by 5-6 goals imo..stop stobbe and allen, tag platten and defend grenshields hard and its all over
bos easily..10 goals +
greenies in a good game with plympton..7 goals+

and the relegation battle to be trench warfare between kookas and farmers..home ground will help but im picking a real tussle with kookas by 2-3 goals

We do every time we go out there, we were the ones who " discovered" Art in season 1 (or 2)

Zed its great to have people you can rely on around the club..well done Art and the rest of the people in clubs that do it for free and the 'love of the club'

Greenies have Murray Hector the timekeeper has been with the club from the mid 60's... clubs just dont function without these stalwarts, they do it in the good times and the bad..good on em all!!!

They're the only two players I know of at Kenilworth, so I'm assuming you are paying more. To go out and attract two players who have seen their fair share of clubs says to me that Kenilworth are in the market to buy players and have a bit of money. Especially Wes, has that big tickets on himself he probably demanded his own changeroom with lights around the mirror.

how do you know wes? ..did you get cleaned up by him one day and have never forgotten it?

this is wes and kanes second year at the club, i dont see how that means we are in the market to pay players,of course if the right player comes around and he is worth some dollars then we will try and secure him, but we are a div 5 club with no pokies or council handouts and we do what we can with what we have got.. they have a mate who is an official at the club and they joined last year..got anything bad to say about kane as well?

we have a 100+ league game, saafl represenative, a1 premiership player who plays for nothing..as does all our leadership group..we have no identity as a "suburban" club as kenilworth does not exist as a suburb and we have no tie ins with sanfl clubs or high schools..we get players anyway we can through mates and our juniors..we struggle at times but that makes it sweeter when we win..

maybe you should concentrate on playing finals and not choking with your "million dollar team"

Getting a bit fired up buddy? When you question other teams about how they throw money around you open yourself up to the same questions. There obviously is some money at Kenilworth and this was all I was pointing out.

I'm not sure if Wes would risk putting his hair out of place to clean someone up. I hear Kane is a nice guy, so no, nothing bad to say about him.

Harder u defend Greensheilds the better he plays mate, the best defenders against Trentice is athletic tall defenders who use their heads instead of bodys. Smithies have noone even close to stoppin 2 big guys like stobbes and Rizer. Eagles by 5 goals @ Anderson Walk

i have never questioned any club paying anyone, and the only team we are discussing is greenacres not "other teams" as you say..the point has to be made that 35k$ is a lot of moolah and not every club in div 5 has access to that large sum..in fact only one would have...

how does 3k stack up against 35k..i dont call 3k throwing money around at all..in fact its quite frugal, 2 x players on $80 a game = $2880, wow..we are the money bags ! ..apples for apples shrek

and yes kane is a top bloke..you must have come across wes when kilburn played edwardstown and looks like he made an impression of sorts !

duncs: a 19 y/o in his first season of A grade held him to about 4 kicks on saturday and 2 goals when elizabeth kicked 29..so i disagree..and i wouldnt call allen a big guy..very good player but hes stoppable and so is stobbe if you are smart enough to make him pay when he leaves his man..we werent obviously

look stobbe is hard to stop agreed..tall and fast etc but smithfield are a pretty good unit on their day and it will be close..they have a few new younger ones you may have not seen before
