Big time hooray for Portland. It was an awesome game. Typical for the hard work the boys had put in. PA were good around the ground but when it came to finishing off we just hung in there

Some interesting results from the weekend!

Unley shock win over Pooraka which now gives the Jets a big chance to stay in Div 4 next year!
Mitcham sealed their finals berth & put the Dolphins in relagation zone!
North Haven showed us a football lesson or two & why they are a Top 2 side as they are a quality side with a lot a talented blokes under 20 & still a few big names to come back in they are a very big premiership chance!
Portland with their 1 pt win over Paoc again as was spot on with my tip & margin on this game!

Wouldnt everyone love to see Cbcoc get relagated to Div 5 next year with Pultney as Tynte St thought they were busy in '08 well next year they will know about it & have to put on extra security, staff & camera men for when their golden teams play in the northern suburbs clashes!
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

D4 is wide open, thats for sure.

Portland vs PAOC was a great game, Joompin's best mate took a fantastic mark in the dying seconds, and goaled to win the game. Ross Bament was great for us, Nicholls was outstanding for PAOC. Got them right back in the game in the last quarter, and almost won it.

PAOC vs PORTLAND i thought was very one sided for the first three quarters, i left at 3 quarter time and i reckon portland were about 30 points up. WHat happened in that last quarter, when i left PAOC didnt look a sniff.

Good to see young tommy the turtle lipson bagging 5 majors

It was close most of the day, we kicked away in the 3rd quarter but they kicked the last couple just before 3/4 time. I think margin was 20 points at the last break.

point taken but IMO portland never looked like loosing the game. the intensity from the first bounce from portland was second to none and took PAOC about 10 mins before they strung to passes together due to portlands pressure.

portland players out Frank, hughes and D. Bird all would be in portlands best 7 or so and will be very hard to beat when this players come back. oh and fisty another out hahah
