Yesterdays game againt prince alfred was hurtful. I am not usually a bitter person about a loss. Well this time i will be. Yes we were beaten pretty much in the middle which led to the forwards just letting the runners kick goals.
My big bitch is about the players themselves. I have never played against a bigger bunch sooks ever.If there was a bump or even a slight glance at these blockes they cried to high heaven. Before you start to criticise my agenda. I know we lost and lost well and truly. This is a forum and anyone can talk. If you want to beat them. Play hard man on man footy and stop them from wearing their orange tights and white feathered suits (seagulls). If i know this then why didnt we win you say. Well there is more than just a few blokes that can do the job for their team. Not alot of hard contested footy from them it was just sit back yell and get fed. Sign of a well groomed side. Maybe so. Their coach, well thats another story. If a player does something wrong by all means tell him at the breaks or send the runner. Dont scream at him like you idolise maxie from st.kilda. To add 1 minuet earlier that same bloke showed courage at the ball and got a goal for them. The coach did exactly the same thing he had a go at his player for and said im the coach i'll do what i like. Great leader.

If this side is to be beaten they need to have their ump spoken to also. He does what they say and protects them far too much. Our ump well they are all the same.

Okay people thats my dinner thrown up on my computer and now i will fly to perth and pick up my dummy. Just sh?tty at the loss a suppose. There is always next week. Now to go to AAMI and see a good game of footy. GO THE POWER

Portland defeats Lutheran with giving a great result from the boys yesterday. Huge turn around from last week. Now in touch with upper ladder standings. Midfield, back lines and forwards all putting in for result that shows we can do it just need to hold on to this form for the coming weeks. First time in many years that all 3 grades from Portland could play in finals.
Looking forward to next week an beyond

what's changed with Portland's C grade?
Earlier in the year, they lost a few games (Unley & Pultney) they should've won...
It would seem they had a mid-sesaon slump.
Also, Pultney were competitive early on, then have dropped away...

Pultney put it up to Mitchem trailing by 3 goals at half time. Really put it up to them. They played hard and tough footy from the word go. So if anyone out there wants to beat them you have to niggle every player and not be soft at the footy. Pulteney also had 3 of their best players out. They fell away in the end to lose by 9 goals. Thats right 9 goals..... Mitchem submitted the scores wrong adding the extra goal..... which im not happy about and Im sure PAC wont be either as it puts Mitchems percentage almost even with theirs. Well im sure the SAAFL will figure it out when all the paperwork is recieved.

Not a happy Pocketrocket....
