I must give credit where credit is due. Although Turtle bagged five he probably let himself down a number of times by fumbling a few straight forward marks and probably could have bagged 8 or 9. Tommy "Almost a Mark" Turtle.

The credit has to go to young Ty Duerden, this bloke is unbelievable, week in week out he is undersized and giving away a lot of kilos to the best oposition forwards and towels them up week in week out. He is playing that well at the minute everyone has forgotten about his much over rated over payed brother.

Although Ty hasn't forgotten about him, the only way for Rory to get a kick at the moment is for Ty to give him a few cheap handballs out the back of a pack.
TY IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN HIS BROTHER RORY.

It was close most of the day, we kicked away in the 3rd quarter but they kicked the last couple just before 3/4 time. I think margin was 20 points at the last break.

point taken but IMO portland never looked like loosing the game. the intensity from the first bounce from portland was second to none and took PAOC about 10 mins before they strung to passes together due to portlands pressure.

portland players out Frank, hughes and D. Bird all would be in portlands best 7 or so and will be very hard to beat when this players come back. oh and fisty another out hahah

fisty to come in and play a part in the D's!!

I think you underestimate the affect that playing with his big brother next to him has had on ty. He certainly walks taller when playing with his brother. Also he needs help to see so having someone next to him with normal eyesight is very helpful. I believe this is the reason that rory does get so many handball recieves, its becuase he doesnt want ty to look bad when he kicks the ball to the oppostion

Now piccachu...just because Rory plays the sweeping role better than you, there's no need to abuse him. A half back line of the two duerdens and burridge is way better than any line with jafred wareing in it

your right that is a good reserves half back line dont no why you haven got ty in the A's though beats me.

its good that rory has fiinally found himself a spot on the ground were is half usefull tryed him forward didnt work, tryed him in the guts didnt work, tryed him down back didnt work but now he has been given the luxury of not having an opponent sitting loose in the backlines he got a couple of kicks. you would think some one that doesnt have an opponent all day should get enough kicks to see them get in the ttop 6 best players but not quite, keep working at it you will get there eventually mate

Hooray for Portland! :D Sounds like it was a good game?

D4 is wide open, thats for sure.

Portland vs PAOC was a great game, Joompin's best mate took a fantastic mark in the dying seconds, and goaled to win the game. Ross Bament was great for us, Nicholls was outstanding for PAOC. Got them right back in the game in the last quarter, and almost won it.

which one Felch???

Probably Las, but Heff and Grany would be prominent too.
