You would have to say so but the lutheran's drew with Pooraka last week as well and I will be honest they are awful.
Someone from Unley was telling me that Pooraka are struggling with injuries and have lost several players to mining jobs (something that has affected North Haven as well). Don't know how true any of this is though, most of this sort of stuff is usually bullshit but figured id ask if anyone knew anymore

I remember pooraka were up and down every few weeks last year and people said it was beause every few weeks players came back from work then had to go back. how true this is i dunno.
Maybe the same thing is happening again??
i think the draw with lutheran is worse than the loss to unley!!!

Thats silly Fisty, Lutheran are still a remote chance (VERY remote) of playing finals.

I still rate Pooraka as the best side we have played, but their lack of depth is a worry. Obviously PAOC, Mitcham, us and Haven, to a lesser extent, have much better depth. We had probably 5 first choice A graders out on the weekend, plus another 6-7 second-tier A/B graders out, and we still managed to do alright (i know PAOC had a few outs aswell).

IMO, Pooraka's absolute strongest side is the best in D4, but think they rarely get it on the park.

I agree felch about Pooraka great team when at full strength but they do lack depth. I did see that Howe Coles and Kirkwood all played on the weekend.
However you opinion of lutherans is delusional. Mathematically they might still be able to make the finals but they're awful. I rate them about par with Pulteney.
Fisty can you please make sure Felch is taking his meds.

You can bag Lutheran because you dont need to play them again...

We only beat them by 1 point last time, and were very lucky to win.

I think if you look back I have made comments about Lutherans being average before we played them the second time. They were kind enough to confirm my theory that they were shit. Am not putting them down just giving a fair assessment. As for you guys only just beating them lets not go blaming lutherans for a bad performance by you guys. I think you will find when you play them next that it won't be quite so hard.

Good work on trying to give Lutherans some amo to fire up this week against the Portland boys. I was just about to say that Unly are the softest side in div 4 and their win on the weekend was pure luck. They wont win this weekend!! They are s**t!! :D

I dont think it is silly
not playing A's its hard to say
but from watching the 2 sides play our A's
I would say unley are a better side then lutheran
our results against them or there ladder positions may not agree with me but thats my opinion

we must take into account that we played terrible football against lutheran first time round!!

does anyone know if abbott will play this time round for lutheran
if so i might have to drink a few during the day and abuse the bloke behind the goals all afternoon!
get on board the thunder train!!!

Interesting tactic Bob fortunately we play Unley this week not unly. It won't bother us anyway we fear no one, once you have showered with Alan Lipson anything else you might face seems trivial.
