One year KG was on the Footy Show (held in Adelaide) ranting and raving on about how he took offence to Sam Neuman saying the Crows were playing like a mob of poofs. Sam Neuman pulled out an old newspaper article (which was sent in by the Adelaide library) of KG saying that `SA will kill this mob of fairies` (the Vics). KG had absolutely no comeback, apart from looking like an idiot.

A number of years ago (when KG regularly commentated on SANFL games on the radio) I was walking alongside KG heading into Elizabeth Oval for a Dogs/Port game. I asked who he thought would win, to be told "Dogs - I hate those f*****g Port c***s, biggest mob of..." It was a 30 second bout of vitriol. I wasn't wearing any colours either so I could have been a Port supporter for all he knew.

I flicked on the radio to listen to the game to hear nothing but compliments about Port from KG in his glowing introduction of them.

On footy inquest once he said " Don't forget folks coming up in November we have the Adelaide formula one gone pee". Even my mum said "Did he just say what I thought he said?"
