SD where you not the one that supplied him with his 100th shot at goal?

Well done to Nation on his 100th

Your B Grade played well I was impressed, would be very surprised if any other side will match you this season.

I've kinda contradicted myself in that post haven't I? Gave him his 99th and 100th, The Bartman gave him his 92nd, 94th, 95th, 97th and 98th!! Or so he keeps telling us!! :D

Trinity how is the fella that went off in the ambulance?

Yeh not so good Broken ribs and punctured lung!
Another loss for our A Grade, for some reason our injuries this year are not just little 1,2,3 weekers they have mostly been season ending some wont return to football ever!

Sorry to hear never nice to see any player going down and having to be stretchered off hope he comes back soon

Unfortunately for us he wont be back this season. I feel sorry for his parents / loved ones, his brother also suffered a bad spinal injury this season which was season ending for him so dont know if they will convince there loved ones to let them get back on the track!

Two good players and great guys so hope to see them back next year!

Why are you asking? General concern? or implying something else? No one said horrendous injuries?

Trinity mentioned that we had a player saturday that suffered broken ribs, and punctured lung, not what i what i would call a horrendous injury, but being one of the trainers that assisted him yes he was in pretty bad shape as anyone that has suffered this injury would understand. I mentioned that his brother also suffered a spinal injury which was also yes pretty bad as any spinal injuries most of the time are. Trinity mentioned that we had suffered our fair share of season ending injuries he didnt imply they were horrendous injuries. Weve just had some bad breaks, legs, cheek bones, collar bones etc which are all common football injuries!

What is naming these boys going to be of any help to anybody?

No need to get defensive there Trinity girl, I think you'll find that the person who asked the question is an old scholar and knows a few of the boys fairly well.

Sorry wasnt suppose to sound to defensive!

The "horrendous injuries" part made it sound a little sarcastic tho!

So that's why i was just trying to clarify!

As FC said Trinity Girl, I'm an old scholar and try and follow the fortunes of the Tossers as best as I can. I've even been to a few games and helped organise trials between my club and Trinity. I'm mates with a couple of players and my brother in law is a regular at games. There's my credentials (I'm sure you could also find my profile on the Trinity old scholars facebook site - I'd reckon I'm the only one in that and the SA Footy one).

As far as horrendous injuries go - if I copped a couple of broken ribs, a punctured lung or a spinal injury, I would definitely describe them as horrendous. I was enquiring out of concern for the well being of the players and the hope they aren't anyone I know.

Maybe an old scholar or somebody who follows the club would want to send well wishes or something similar.
Dogwatcher might actually consider a spinal injury or a punctured lung as a horrendous injury. I certainly would! Shouldnt start picking at others when they show genuine concern. You wont be very popular if you start picking fights after 3 posts.

I wasnt picking a fight! as i have explained! Sorry i had a different view as to what he was implying by horrendous injury? This is why i asked DW to clarify what he was asking me! Im a trainer so yes i would describe these injuries as serious injuries but i wasnt sure what he was implying by horrendous injury.

Nope, sorry. I don't see myself living back in the city in the short term and my time on the field is nearing an end I suspect.

 funny to hear someone put us in the "City" class of people, had Glenunga at home a couple weeks back and with all the complaining they did you would have thought they had driven to Melbourne! WOS players came in a hired bus!

Well if you change you mind Trinity could do with some, i dare not say (older) players :D in case it offends...... "experienced players" it would be great for the club. We have lots of young guys but being such a new club it would be great to get some "slightly" older old scholars out to play!
