Does training on an oval for 30+ years make it your 'home ground'? I would think so. Seaton Ramblers could use the Ravendale precedent and claim Footy Park as their home ground and want to play their home games there because they built their clubrooms in the near vicinity.
$60,000 is apparently sitting idle waiting to build a scoreboard at Ravendale. Meanwhile, Centenary needs better lights. How about spending $2,000 on the scoreboard and $58,000 on lights for Centenary?

Greatly improved lighting at Centenary Oval is being installed as we speak. The new lighting won't be suitable for night games but more than adequate for training.

the 30+ years is actually 57........

I would expect that we would still claim Ravendale to be our Home ground - even considering we have been doing so for a large amount of years - when NO-BODY wanted to play Home games there or be anywhere near Ravendale.....

Just because another entity wants to claim Ravendale as its home - shouldn't discount or weaken our history, tradition or stance that it is our Home ground......

Totally agree no one wanted to be out at Ravendale....now everyone does!
Bit cheeky though ... when Tasmans have built their clubrooms over looking an oval and you claim it to be yours! I know how they feel on the situation, would it hurt for you guys to move to the other oval and call that your home ground?

ahhhhh AG - didnt you get inthe best players last week!!

He has issued a tipping challenge for us in todays paper....for the Mortlock Shield - every game - every points spread........and the loser puts $50 towards the Cancer Foundation...........I congratulate the GM - that's the spirit.........

but honestly I couldnt be F%&$ed - sound like to much work.........do it during the normal PLFL season - i reckon that could be fun - having jibes at each other.....

but having said that - in the name of a challenge.......I will donate $50 to the Cancer Foundation Fund anyway!

and my tips will be lodged with AG at the PLT........as challenged

I am assuming you get one point for the winner and another point if you are within the 10 point spread........
