may depend on council regulations as to whether they are allowed or not

but i think you can have 2 greyhounds, possibly 3.

Have a good read of this. Now remember i cant train a greyhound from the luxury of inside my own home. YET this guy has the full support of GRA. Why do we even bother trying to work out how they make the decisions they do???

ALLAN PRINGLE GETS GREYHOUND LICENSE BACK!!

NSW has now reached its lowest ever with giving back a training licience to him.
This will be very bad publicity for our sport.

Its very hard on Sarah, his daughter but also on Marty his stepson, who put a complaint against him.


he had a name as a great trainer and I believe he could train a dog well but I also remember that a lot of their top dogs died when dna came in. Also he admited he paid Potter for his fixing of swabs so how good was he or was the sting he had better?..

Well I know Allan has been living near Lithgow for the past few years, rearing pups for Rob Tyler of Reason Kennels, and doing a darn good job I must admit.

When I first met Allan many many years ago, as an impressionable 17 yrs old teenager just getting my first greyhound, I was in awe of him and when he said HELLO to me I just about fainted lol As a person in public, he can be very very down to earth and friendly.

To then find out and hear about what he did to his step son and also to some bitches (I read in the local newspaper years ago that he had sexually abused maybe one or two dogs and that police wanted to charge him for that, im not sure if it stood up in court though), although I still regard Allan as a great man with rearing pups and training, it left me very disappointed that he had such lack of character in regard to young people on certain occasions.

I know some men only abuse their own kids, and would never sexually abuse anyone outside of their own family, so would you really be that worried Allan might go after other people's kids? I wouldn't, I think he only restricted it to his own step kid (I sure hope he didn't do it to more kids!) and I bet after all that publicity and time in prison, he would be cured of any ideas in playing with kids.

He may have paid for his time in prison, but many thinks he should never ever be forgiven for what he did.

He is a crook, certainly, and for that reason alone, shouldn't be allowed his licence back at all. GRA has done wrong in turning an about face on him, when after all they've been proclaiming to all that they won't allow convicted felons to hold a licence.

Can you imagine all the other banned greyhound trainers now coming forward to GRA, asking for their licences back simply because A. Pringle got his back?

I wonder who was the one on the GRA staff that supported the granting of a licence to Allan? People will be saying it's because Allan paid them off,or he must have a relative in the office, or that he is such a big name that the GRA staff just rolled over and said "tickle our bellies, oh Great One!"
