so Wright Rd used to be called Westview Road?

Im trying to figure out how Sleep Road goes right to GJ Road? Impossible!

The railway must run right behind the jail then because there's a huge drop to the creek just behind it..

look for the copyright symbol on the imprint page, which will be followed by the year of publication.

Sleep road is no longer, must have gone through the prison paddocks as it lines up directly with Fosters Rd at GJ Rd

Looks like Sleep Road connected up to Coondoo Road in Ingle Farm..

And in Walkleys Heights, there's a "path" that goes through there, looks like it would be right where Sleep road was.

Well there is a sleep road at Para Hills though, maybe it ran from Montague Road. I still cant see how a road could have run through the prison paddocks, it's a very deep chasm there! and no sign of any bridge! ( I used to go walking through that creek behind the prison)

Looking at where Sleep Rd used to go, and where Sleep Rd at Para Hills is now, it could have been the same.
I used to work for the Highways Dept, and we used to sometimes test drive vehicles along that track along the creek, it would be steep for a road, but not totally out of the question for an old goat track used only by people and horses.

"Gunn" is actually GUM now.

Maybe someone misread it one year?

It was changed as part of the voluntary weapons amnesty that followed the Port Arthur massacre.

For some stupid reason that map reminds me of the '79 movie
WARRIORS
where they had to get from the Bronx to Brooklyn (Coney Island)
via the subway, with a few minor setbacks on the way
& every street gang in New York City after them!
"Come out to play-ay!"
Classic!
GO THE GROWL!!!

Strawb, where did you get this from>
somone has either drawn this up on paint, or this is a plan for the future of Adelaide?
If so, it involves an underground rail system- should be completed in 4029...
