It wasn't bait!! City are perenially pathetic, the victory Bluesy is hanging on to like a sh*t did nothing to earn any of my respect. Flogging Far West to set up victory while Districts knocked over GF and MW for you wasn't enough to turn the tide of 30 years worth of half hearted performances. If you think it was an ordinary comment, really rev the boys up to perform this weekend, because a lot of people across EP would agree with it, their record doesn't lie!!

I do admire your passion for the team though Rossco, pity the rest didn't have your ideals.....I suspect another pitiful performance would hurt you, whereas Bluesy would already be checking who Waybacks have next......

That's been said many a time before Grub, and it took from 1978 to 2003 for City to chalk up a win against us. Save your judgement....

Surely there are readers out there from beyond Winters Hill. Mortlock week is the time to have your say. Any news & views from other leagues would be appreciated.

Thanks panther for telling me what I am thinking...really helpful that. Maybe your signon should be Lola the Showgirl. Sitting in the corner of the Copacabana remembering how thing were, missing Tony, wishing you never met Rico. What has happened in the past is gone, get with the present. The players that are representing LC this weekend are not the same players that you so readily malign. Well done to all players that have made themselves available for rep duties, should be a great weekend and do yourself proud.
Just grab your marraccas and move on....stop chest beating long enough to be ready to applaud what should be an exciting weekend of footy.

What a load of bull bluestheboy.
Panther is saying what the majority of football followers on the Eyre Peninsula think about City. Pull your head out of TRRs a*s and have a look at your record and the fact that you have always had name players that cant gel together. Looking to the future is a Bostons type statement and the only thing you can say. Maybe in another 30 years things might have changed!

Ummm, so why do you keep posting a photo that is 3 years old.....

Your right, they've all pulled out....

Look, I honestly hope one of the Lincoln sides can win it, protect the rep of the League I am proud of. Mortlock is a great weekend for EP sport and something we need to hang on to. Was the pinnacle of my career to play Mortlock as a youngster. We'll move on, Monday could be interesting on here though!!

I only remember running onto the field as a 17 y.o and then waking up in hospital with a headache (i'm told it was football related). The nurse wasn't even any good.
New format will breathe life back into the carnival. Great concept. The team that would have been lined up to play Far West Saturday morning under the old concept (districts??) would be spewing that a golden opportunity for Mortlock glory has been taken away. Might now actually have to earn the shield rather than ride on the back of an easy percentage booster.

2 years old actually panther, but you are right...we need to move on.
Really believe that with the format change this year, there is more of a buzz about Mortlock than is normally the case. (In Lincoln in particular)
No idea what it costs to get in this year, but to see 9 games of footy in one day makes tomorrow a truly 'super saturday'.
If Big Kev was still alive, he could in all honesty say:

I'M EXCITED

BTB- don't get too excited. Big Kev died of a heart attack not long ago. The excitement got to him in the end. He looks a bit more athletic than you too.

My tip for the Mortlock is Great Flinders the reason being they take pride in thier performance and work well together unlike other teams. There team looks outstanding on paper.

Enjoy the weekend guys.
Most of you can share a beer and watch (hopefully some great footy) together.
OL - you can sit back and watch those that are watching. Seeing as your rep is so precious.
And I'm not fence sitting by not picking a winner, I actually have no idea about the squads, haven't seen them.

Justquietly, do you ever post anything of any substance? Your posts mean absolutely nothing, they only mimick what everyone else says. You have no thoughts of your own and your existence is based on the popular vote.
Go get yourself a life.
