TB, for possibly only the second time ever, I totally agree with you. This year when they have let the play go, we have seen some great action and high scoring affairs. The men in white are at their best when you hardly notice them out there. Start blowing the whistle every 30 seconds and get all ticky touchwood and over technical and the game goes down the gurgler...

My advice.

Let our wonderful game flow.

Inappropriate holding the man, holding the ball not on.

Protect ball players like Sheedy and Crane! :D

Some would argue that inappropriate holding the balls would occur naturally when there is inappropriate holding the man...

Unless there was a late replacement on Sunday, Richard Williams was at Elizabeth Oval Saturday night Big Phil....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

S Hay, R Williams, C Rowston, C Bowen (emg)

Hay and Rowston umpired in the State Game. R Williams is a GF ornament. D Woodcock is the best umpire but will probably miss out - no pre-season

Bloody hell, I hate it when the media get it wrong

yes, he was, sorry gentleman. I was getting him slightly confused with Tim Pfieffer, my bad

Back to the topic at hand, I think Woodcock, Williams and Pfieffer are the 3 best SANFL umpires and hope it's them on the GF and think Dick will get in with his record alone. Really don't care about who it is to be honest, as long as Rowston isn't there, that's all I ask :(

Tony Dey has gotta be the worst ump in the comp by an absolute mile. Seen far too many games ruined by his p!ss weak decisions

You'd have to Put Williams & Hay as the top 2 at this stage
