i wouldnt be surprised if some1 from a lower ranked team wins the medal, seems to happen often

Hounds ..I agree..when teams are going well the umps have too many to choose from and its hard for them to single one out (unlike free kicks)..the winner may well come from a lower ranked team with a player that stands out most weeks...eg 2007 Schallehn from greenies won it and we finished 7th but he was very good for us most weeks.. just a thought ..but there will be many other examples when this is not the case

yeh last year in div 6 clint dow won the medal from houghton, i think they finished around the 6th 7th mark
