i think he does a great job sprint

Good on you guys for being pro-active, if it's the fella that was there for our game, my only problem was that he was telling our coach and runner to get back behind the white line(the spectator line) despite your coaches box having about 20 people hanging around it. I don't think he has much of a footballing background, perhaps if someone could give him some guidelines he could ease off a bit.

A bit redundant now anyway, unless of course you guys get a home final.

bulldog : uuuggghhh..he spends more time on the field with his off field role than before he was suspended LOL

i think we have discussed the mystery man in black enough now..im sure sprint will use the constructive comments to refine his role around match day..i think its a great positive that bos provide security at their games just in case the need arises..just some teething things to work through..we have some players at our club who actually work with him and they say he is a nice enough sort of guy

LM: very tall, darkish skin, with a skinny beard thing and "security" on his cap and top

OK, that's the one, at least he done it for the whole season, I agree, sounds like Sprinter can help him out a bit, if no one says anything, no one knows, all good.

Very harsh, was involved at cufc for couple of seasons and worked very hard at discipline both on and off the field and would honestly say that have see a lot worse behavior from both players and supporters from across south road!

east or west of south rd? its a long road you know

harsh but true..you may have worked hard in previous years keepitreal but just check out the reports from last year and this year and then tell me all is sweet and goodness at cufc, and i happen to know a life member from cufc who totally agrees with me so its not a biased comment at all..the cufc B grade coach is suspended for life from the saafl..and he then runs for the A grade and foul mouths the coaching group in his role as a runner..is that a good example for everyone?

so east or west then..you sure you dont mean grand junction rd because that can be crossed LOL

if you were in charge 3 years ago you would have played kenilworth that year a few times and yes you were a disciplined group then but things change mate

i was also involved in the notorious game 10 years ago at cufc when the umpire was king hit after the game by cufc supporters..so i have a few bad memories i can relate to

3 games in as many weeks, boys were too young and didn't have the body to go with you guys. Had to work very hard to reverse previous history and umpire bias, which I think we did, but you are correct things do change and is up to the club to take a strong stance and stamp out undesirable behavior, players and support staff.

well i'll have to disagree with u there, because wen i've come off for a rest and us bench players have been over the line he has come over and told us to go back, apparently only the coach and runner are allowed over the line

It was mentioned on another thread that each club is to nominate 3 players for the team of the year, does anyone know if there is any truth to this, it would be a load of pooh if it is the case, I'm sure GG & Greenies would have more than 3 worthy players each.

I don't really think that we'd have too many, we've played good team footy over the course of the year with many players standing up at different stages.

I'm not going to argue with you about it, I had seen our coach & runner get told to move back and I was looking at your box and there were heaps of people around it, it may have been an isolated incident, it was no big deal and yes, it wasn't the case for the whole day, so he probably did go and say something.

How can players go for a jog along boundary as they do, if they have to behind the 2nd line? It would be interesting to see what the exact wording is for interchange players.

SAAFL Team of Year requiring nominations, whereas Footy Budget teams of year won't need to as they seem cluey enough to pick their own.

we didn't apply for a home final LM, we can't cover $1k with a canteen/bbq. last two years we've done the same thing. a neutral ground for us if we finish in a hosting positon will be the deal. they could at least make it a sensible financial exercise for all clubs.
