Gotta give it to syd-dog and REB - you were both right.

West Coast were easy to beat!

If only we'd kick straight...

Port.......... 13. 19 (97)
Weagles......8. 12 (60)

:D

Magpiepower

mate i was wrong but i had the balls to put a tip on the table

looking thru the previous post, I did not see you back your side in, your comment was in hope that the Eagles were due to drop a game

it's all nice talking in hindsight, but it would be nice for you to back in your side before the game is played

Fargen West Coast. When you want them to charge back they fold like bloody deck chairs. The race is on counsellor..Port, Richmond and Geelong will fight it out for perhaps that last spot in the eight.

West Coast did us one favour tho..by refusing to respect Daniel (spelt funny isn't it?) Pearce and let him run amok and display his talents, this has identified the cog to shut down when we meet them at Cat park. We know about Lade, Tredrea, Burgoynes and Corneses but Pearce is the young player who has stood up to ignite the Power in the middle. Rest assured that the Reverend Daniher would have taken note and that young Pearce will begin to be heavily tagged from now on.

regards,

REB

PS - You probably backed West Coast you big wuss

Nervously optimistic going into the game

I don't just back a side in because I barrack for them.

Talking in hindsight? Saviouring a great win, a very important win...

LOL! I did back West Coast but am more than happy to be get that tip wrong.

Fargen Port - would be killing the office footy tipping comp if it wasn't for them!

Danyle has been putting in blinders for a few weeks now.

Power do have a tough run home but 7th and 8th position on the ladder seems to be up for grabs, Freo, Richmond, St Kilda and Geelong are the sides they will be competing against and they have all had their problems...

It will come down to which 2 of these sides stand up in the second half of the season

History would suggest both Frematle and Richmond would be displaying form out of character to finish with Septembar action assured.Get off both of them.Terry Wallett (great name REB) to struggle with the mentallity at Tigerland, and Chris Comedy to make way for Mark Harvey, unless the Bombers have given Harv's some sort of whisper and he with-draws from the job.(ie:Neil Craig-West Coast-Adelaide,c'mon,you all know it)
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
