I know my archives riddler :wink: , if I didn't have so much work i'd put my hand up to write articles for the budget but unfortunatly I don't get to enough games :(

The Northern suburbs club that is being asked to re-consider it's future in the SAAFL (as mentioned in the budget) wouldnt happen to be Salisbury West would it?? How reliable is this rumour??

Interesting, I spoke to a bloke at our club that is very close knit with the amateur league board and he had no idea what I was talking about.He might be out of the loop............

All that has to happen is that the SAAFL executive does not accept their nomination for affiliation if they don't want them in the comp. Simple really!

If Salisbury West are advertising for coaches for all grades, trainers and players, they must think they are playing Div 4 footy in '09. There has been A LOT of talk that the SAAFL big boys will tell SW that they are no longer a required team in Amatuer League Football, but whether that is talk from people who wont them out, or leaks from the SAAFL head quaters, who knows

They have to advertise, no point not advertising and waiting around, then get accepted again with no coach?

i think you'll find they will be in the saafl but with some very tough guidelines to follow so i guess its in there hands now..................

tough guidelines.......AGAIN.....its gettingboring with them for the last 10years....they WONT CHANGE...so kick em out,,,,simple solution.....

So if they get booted out does that the troublemakers go elsewhere? If so that might not be solving anything.

just curious, what have Salisbury West done wrong in 2008?
If they keep offending, they have a case to answer, if not, are they being penalised for past crimes?
