Pooraka's juniors are struggling. Just no kids wanting to play footy these days, all turning to soccer. Pooraka unfortunatly seem to have it worse than other clubs. More recruiting needed i feel.

I find it interesting that you are having trouble finding juniors. I played in the juniors up to U/18's in the yr below Bradley & Russell, playing with Paul Gibbs, The Heff, Mossy, Carry & co. Just shows how much things can change in an area due to population shifts.

Does anyone know the playing history of Tony Elletson (was he any good?), who is currently a coaching co ordinator in Mt Gambier, and who i believe played some footy previously with Pooraka??

Their Under 12's and 14's are very competitive! Definately NOT struggling!

Wattsy's coming back? Bloke is a legend, would be good to see him get the gig at Pooraka.

Wattsy is a champion and if he returns along with coghill and greaves the bulls could be around the mark next year. Is Weaves coaching ttg next year?

Pooraka weren't far off it this year. They gave us a huge touch-up during the year, at our ground. At that stage, i thought they were certainties for the flag. They looked an awesome outfit.

Yes obviously the first half of the year the bulls played some great football however when the weather turned to crap i believe we were found needing a few bigger bodies around the place. Also the depth issue came to the for again with the top 3 this year all featuring late into the reserves finals same as last year. Hopefully a few former bulls will return to give it a shake

Agree on the depth issue, it is a huge factor. The Bulls had some good players this year though - Pead is all class, and obviously Howe was missed later in the season. Their ruckman was a good player too, not sure on his name, had a beard ???
