Liverpool 2 - Boro 1..

Boro by far the better side and deserved 3 points.

A great goal by Mido was cancelled out by a deflected shot by Carragher...........yes thats correct.........and a late goal by Steve Gerrard.

LFC have some issues to deal with,,,mainly up forward with the Keane/Torres partnership and the wings.

Full credit to Boro,, they came to play and not many mid table teams do that at Anfield and they should've taken home the spoils but were VERY unlucky.

For the 2nd week in a row I fell asleep and missed the match

We haven't hit the ground running, but one of Liverpool's problems in recent years has been that we can't "win ugly", and so far we've done ok on that front.

More Liverpool luck, Boro were very unlucky to not even get a point out of that.

Did Robbie Keane even play? The only thing he has done this season is block a Torres shot which was a certain goal.

Aussie Richard Garcia scored a wonderful header to win a point for Hull, it was incredibly difficult to lob the keeper with his head from that angle and he did it perfectly.

Stoke also had a late win, 3-2 over Villa in a cracker.

United must beat Pompey, can't afford to get off to another start like last season. Hopefully Wigan can arse something against the Russians too.

Just watching the City v Hammers replay now, scarily it could have been much worse than the 3-nil trouncing the Hammers copped with City hitting the bat with keeper beaten twice in the first 15 minutes ... Citeh won't be the pushovers most people thought (unless they start selling the furniture)

Glad Man Utd got a win overnight, always struggle at Fratton Park.

I laughed at soccernet's caption of Fletcher scoring, they described him as a 'goal machine'.

Good to see a Fulham fan on board, although I've never heard them called the 'whites'. Maybe cottagers, badgers ....

Although after beating Arsenal I'm happy to call them champions of the universe. It was beautiful to watch.

Although I can't vouch for any personally, from discussions with Yid mates who are season ticket holders:

Stamford Bridge - Chelski
Upton Park - West Ham
Emirates - Arsenal to a lesser extent

Due to it's location in shitsville, White Hart Lane is very intimidating to leave. Even being Spurs fan, it feels like someone could just step up and belt you at any time.

That is the best chant (despite being reminded of St Kilda!!!) when all the Yids start off real slow then get clapping - absolute gold.
