D.Frahm T.Rosewall D.Reavill

S.Mckenzie ? B.Moore

S.Dean B.Bayley

I know there's a few question marks but at what I've seen this yer that'd be pretty close to MY favourite, not really sure about a full back yet been a few who have stood out.
Gonna need a good full back to help out Moorey out of a back pocket I'm sure he'd love me if I was his coach

Good effort Fox, but id probably have a few different.

I think Browny for Christies mainly plays on the wing so id turf him out of the FP and replace him with Milo who doesnt really play at CHF. Into CHF id throw Scotty Mackenzie. I dont really rate Ramsey and am always fascinated on how he makes the State championship side. When was the last time he performed against one of the top sides? Also, give him a clip around the ear and you wont see him for the rest of the game.

Wes Bilney is a great selection and has easily been Marion's best this year. Not sure about young Veide as I have not seen him this year.

Frahm must have done something against you boys this year, as all the years I have played against him, he has been nothing short of rubbish. More worried about TRYING to intimidate the opposition than the ball!

I would also replace D. Reavill with Ramsey up forward and Ben Moore with Dean in the guts.

Well, that's my opinion anyway.

Good to see Veide in it mate .He has had a good year.Forgot him in mine, but good selection
If the only reason you play is for a beer with your mates after the game, your playing for the wrong reasons !!

I think after reviewing everyones sides you could do this all day. think young Veide has a great future ahead of him, along hopefully with Mosar.
Think Brookman would definitely have to be in there (soory hotdogs), can't see where I have ever been biased against Brighton but you go mate, good to see you climb out from under your shell once they knock off the top few sides mate, typical turtleneck.

Bachmann ????

In team of the year, didn't he spend 3 qtrs of the year at South ?

Cove
Emus
Reynella
Roos will give porties a run for the money, playing some good footy and as some one stated, players to come back and would be the first players picked every week.

We all rate our own players but picking 21 or 22 from 14 clubs means its hard to justify a Rep from everyone. All the top sides could justifiably have 4 or 5 players in a Team of the Year, which doesn't leave much room for players in clubs down the ladder, so it depends on the criteria. Would Shrive be considered if he stayed at Morphett Vale and played the same level of footy for them. If Mosar played at Cove would he be in their best 4 or 5 players and warrant consideration for a Team of the Year ?

Vic01, I said I would replace Ramsay with Dan Reavill as the original side had Reavill in the backline.

Anyway, I heard a rumour that since the SANFL is losing the U17s and 19s system, that Coxy is out of a job at Glenelg and has applied for the Christies Beach job. Apparently, Christies have had 3 applicants and they were all named on Saturday night at the after match presentations. Can anyone from Christies either confirm or deny?

Will be great to have Coxy back in the SFL, pity it wont be with the Falcons....

Now that is a very believable rumour, however my informants tell me that Cox will be remaining at Glenelg in some capacity for season 2009... Will be interesting to see...

DTH,good call as I would of thought that Matty Despott would get a jumper but you can't have everyone as I am sure his peers would recognise his talents.
DTH maybe we can catch up on sat and have that chardonay

Great side, although I'd only reall prob swap Milo and Polly positions but thats a great side for sure. Maybe swap Brown for Rosewall to give a bit more height but Browny would be in there somewhere I'd say. Nice one T Express

Brookman is named as second ruck but not on the field or bench...? Also you are only allowed 21 players in A grade so already thats 2 players you have to cut.
