I totally agree with you Panther. Was speaking to Skinny on Saturday and said how it needs a fence around the outer boundary and even allow cars to park around to say the pocket by the hockey pitch end. Would create alot better atmosphere and also needs some seating done. Thats why we don't need a 60k scoreboard, spend it on other more worthwhile things.

Would be off TA's own back, I don't agree with the way he has gone about it either, no solutions offered etc!!

To get the place the recognition the Tasman heirachy crave we need to work with it's strengths, and that's the lights and the prospect of night footy. If I were in charge I'd be fast tracking a night game for this year. Friday night footy in Lincoln will be huge, the crowds will flock and we will see it at it's best thus stopping a lot of the naysayers. Dare I say it but night footy with good crowds could also lure footballers down from GF who want to be a part of it, certainly strengthen the chances of ex PL players returning. I'd say it would appeal to you Tips?

absolutely...alot of us have never played night footy and would be something that I and alot of others would definetly look forward to, the better the crowd atmosphere and the better the "5th quater" the more PLFL players may return!

Can safely say that you are full of c**p OL. I spoke with Sammy Read and he isnt going anywhere, happy with Tasmans.

I would love to know where you pull this stuff from.

Geez this boring - I think I will go back to William Creek
Tips - how's your injury - playing this week ??
What else has happened since I left ?
Mallee Park delegate non attendee at last Junior League meeting AGAIN - anyone surprised ?
Let me see - what else.
This weeks fixtures as per the original cardboard program we've all got
Waybacks losing to MP last weekend - suggest not a true picture as they had a few guns out, but then again Mallees had a couple as well and those same guns may be away come finals - so perhaps we have got a pretty open season ahead of us with no real favourites. Souths are a chance with all their's back in and firing but things are going to have to go haywire for Tassies to claim this premiership. Looked good at times last Saturday but at times is not good enough and bear in mind I thought MR played fairly bloody ordinary and still won relatively comfortably.
Sorry to those who think I'm stating the obvious.
Where did this Goldsmith come from for MP

Would be good to hear some reports on the W v MP game, the silence is deafening!! Perhaps they all took Muzza's advice and plunged Waybacks to go undefeated and are now all hiding from the bookies??? Grub hasn't been posting, perhaps he's the bookie chasing them???

Shannon Goldsmith (no relation to Tottie) apparently played in the Aboriginal All Stars earlier this year. Played Mortlock & Zoomer was particulary impressed with his game v Lincoln City. Had a few new players i hadn't seen before, some of whom were pretty handy. A few of their recognised players had a quiet day (eg Mooney), and i don't think Waylon or Devlin played. They won the toss and kicked against the wind as is their habit, and we couldn't peg them back after being down at 1/4 time. The scoreline of less than 15 goals on a good day for footy is a pretty good indication of how badly both forward lines played. Our best player list were the only ones to get more than about 5 possessions for us for the day. We were shocking, Mallee Park were 1 goal better.

Are you saying that although they had a couple still out you don't see them as a genuine threat to the current top 2 or 3 when everyone has a full list?

S Goldsmith may have come from the Adelaide Hills? Name rings a bell. I played against a Goldsmith from Onka Valley Bulldogs. And they're without him this year...confirmation?

I was saying they will be in the top 2 or 3 when everyone has a full list. They will only get fitter, and thanks to us they will now be full of confidence. Rangers will beat them, everyone else will struggle against them.

Boags - there are many who would think that the Demons have the best list (assuming all are available) and I am one of them. It then gets down to what happens on the day. So just in case you didn't have your tongue in your cheek with your comment regarding everyone else will struggle, don't get too fussed with the peckers as, as has happened before with them, that could be your or any other club's undoing.

Shannon Goldsmith is a gun. Plays the winter for onkas in the Adelaide Hills, then goes to Darwin each summer and carves it up up there.
Hasnt played a game this year for onkas though
