maybe even sooner, but at least it was planned so it could be extended without too much disturbance to operations.


Yeah they just need to get the Cargo lads to move and possibly Qantas catering...yeah no disturbance there....

It's not too uncommon for buses to be used at airports. Before they got the buses it was like a 500m walk to get to the planes.

The reason was they measured the temperature in the covered walkway in Summer and at some stages it was 50-60 degrees..not good for the elderly/kids etc...

Also the walkways had a tendency to flood when it rained heavy (not many chances to see but it did)...
