Souths Clarke has been banned for 2 games by the tribunal.

so only clarke and chambers get suspended :? 8) :roll:

If McCabe only got a reprimand, Clarke must have assassinated someone. Over the years, it has always fascinated me that players in lower clubs appear to get heavier penalties than those at the top.

There may be some truth to that AH, there are certainly precedents. For example:

Back in 1996 Brian Leys appeared in front of the tribunal on striking charges at least twice. Found guilty both times. Was reprimanded the first time, and copped one match for the second.

In the same year Mark Tylor appeared once on a striking charge and copped two matches.

Don't tell me Leys got credit for a good record - the bloke was as feral as they come. He was certainly several levels lower in class than Mark Tylor.

Did I mention that Leys was playing for the then-current premiers and that Tylor was then having a spell at one of the lower clubs? It does make you wonder....

cp, I think you are correct andalthough I didn't see the incident I have no doubt that the 2 games was a correct judgement ;)

i heard that wiggins said dont worry about it he would get him off, as in to say he didnt hit him , and he was faking it.

wiggins also said to doug not worry either, coz he fakes playing like a footballer too ;)
