The SAAFL website is pretty much crap, just another drain of money to fix somthing not broke, I think the main reason for it may be so Shadiac can sell photos.

Yes it is very pretty and full of lots of wonderful colours. I have a fast connection and struggle to view it, so I would think a 56k would be like a glass door on a dunny. @#$%^& useless...

I heard it was updated because Shadiac wanted to stop the footy budget and website from getting up and popular, trying to stop something positive for the clubs of the league because it made no money for the league "him" and he had a personal differance with the authors of the budget.

So great idea to spend 25K to stop something positive for our footy clubs and win a pi**ing contest, there is no responsibility or accountability taken for the moneys spent, and no one dont seems to care.

Spot on their Griffen, I think Shadiac has shown what capabilities he has, absolutely none compared to Luke from the Football Budget.
It makes you wonder which one of these blokes should be working for the Amateur League!
I know who's more beneficial to Amateur clubs & supporters!

All revolves around the budget demonseye, any other role you have for him involving Amateurs i'm sure he'll do alot better job than the present money wasters.

I am sure almost anyone would do a better job than Shadiac, he is not in touch with the clubs, he spends the money with no accountability, he does not understand the work that most clubs do to even pay the money to field their teams.

A school principal that is used of spending a budget of money with no care where it came from just spend it because you can. I am sorry to beat up on Shadiac but if we dont start taking SAAFL to task, we cant complain, the executive appoint the CEO so they cant hide behind his short comings, they employ him. And they are about to reapoint for another 3 years ???

They had to drag him kicking and screaming to Thebarton, he wanted to get interior designers in to Tynte st to upgrade his office, sorry but enough is enough and the website is just one thing.

I do invite anyone to deny any of these issues

Enough is enough with this little shitfight between Hosie and Shadiac. Did one root the other's wife or something? Time for them to duke it out in a cage fight. My money is on the cougar to win by distracting Shadiac with a bit of Hopoate action then sitting on him.

Ah it must be Monday and the web site has failed again.

What chance does Shadiac and the rest of the Polit Board Members think that us clubs will continue to let this reign of cyber junk continue!!!!!!!!!!!!

The web site is too loaded on the front page causing it to be useless.

Too bad if I wanted to find out the C1 - C7 results from the weekend.

The time has come for us to stand up and not take this crap any more

The delegates must speak at the next dlegates meeting about the web site and sports beat

now if I ask our Board they will get our club delegate to speak on the matter.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

When it comes time for election of SAAFL Exec officers, get your name in the hat and have a go at fixing it. it's easy on the outside.
I'm not a real fan either but your trying to please 68 clubs full of people with varying ideas, what a prick of a job that would be.
One could suggest it's not easy trying to appease all members of your own club let alone the whole of the SAAFL.

Appeasing all clubs and being competent at your job are two different things, the amount of money paid for the position tells me we could get someone that is very competent and or at least experienced in that type of position.

For the record its 1.15 monday, all I can get up is the front page and week three grounds

I'm no IT guru but I can't see why it takes so long to load everything ??? Pretty sad...
Maybe it's trying to load up the clubs/stats/goals etc GTB has accumulated in his illustrious career right Mick ??

The problem is when there is a high volume of users accessing the site. They need to fork out for a bigger server that can handle it.
