Laslett won by 1 vote, George Choimes from PAOC second (little rover bloke), Matty Nelson from Fitzroy was 3rd, i think 4 votes behind Choimes.
Dempsey polled well early, but got hardly anything after that. Ryan Byrne didnt poll well either.
You got some votes in the ressies mate.

The current team are alot younger for sure. Cannot compare the 2 sides though - 2008 side has achieved nothing yet. They are a very determined, confident group but anything can happen GF day. Both Mitcham and PAOC are capable of winning it.

I understand you not wanting to give either aspiring grand final clubs any amunition but the way PAOC perfomred on the weekend they wouldnt be able to beat the Portland 2000 premiership side.....And some of those players aren't in the physical condition they were back then!!!!
**Also noticed Andy negotiating with Sturtman on a contract for next year** Could be the big recruit for the Thunder in 2009**

Promotion and a Grand Final appearance usually silences those critics Sturtman

Yes i agree when the runs on the board no one can say anything.... having said that its been a couple of weeks since he has belted anyone. I think he will eat someone in the GF. He is an angry man at times....
