I just heard that an inlaw, who is an advertising guru in Sydney, made those terrible Nike World Cup ads with that annoying Wurzel Gummidge lookalike. Boo!

Funny, I was teaching my students the other day about Germany (tenuous World Cup link), Communism, Berlin Wall etc and we got to talking about the GWoC. That quote came up and I didn't get it. Now I do

The ones on the Funny Ads shows rock, I remember seeing one for Jiffie condoms.

It starts out with a little foreplay, then they're on the bed going at it so he tries to think of things to get himself excited. So he starts thinking of soccer.

It finishes with him shouting "BOBBY CHARLTON!!!"

The old Telecom 'memories' ads ...

The Johnson's bandaid ad where the little kid scuffs his knee playing soccer...

The BP convoy ad...

The AAMI disaster ads...

The current chunky soup ad where the bloke quickly jumps out of bed when his wife comes to hug him. The dirtiest ad on tv at the moment that thankfully the kids won't get!
