maybe you would like to go on a turkey shoot.??..tell ya what you gobble and Ill shoot

But yes BB youre right it will be a big game..the two teams that were clearly best all year come together in a GF

Not sure how many were left on the bench we had one that got the elbow to head and another with a knee to the ribs but both those blokes will be ok for next week I think

Wasnt meant to hurt mate...just friendly banter. The real hurt will be on one of us come saturday arvo.

In the interest of intelligent conversation i would be interested to hear from where you think we may undermine you if the game was to fall that way. Some people think it will be a scudds/forth shootout....Do you think the game will be won in other areas?

Of course the game will be won in other areas, GG have multiple avenues for scoring goals and Greenies have produced a number of goal scoring options during the year aswell. Scudds will be a difficult match-up, I'm sure whoever is going to stand him would be focussing on the task ahead already, Greenies have to put pressure on the supply to him as the GG delivery was superb when I seen them, all Scudds had to do was make sure he held his marks (which he did).

Greenies are had it and are used of having solid battles, two very different styles of teams, both have been very effective in their methods and will make for a great game. The 2-0 record Greenies way for the year will be a key factor for both sides, can it inspire GG to prove they are the best side or will history repeat itself?

didnt u see the (hopefully) part..... i never said we were gonna but obviously i really frickin want it to happen..
u cant blame the guys for gettin excited with 3 Grand finals....
were not cocky, just looking forward to it... hopefully we take out all 3... as im sure other teams are hoping they win their gf's...

would u rather me come on here and say i dont care if we win, or close enough is good enough....

were expecting 3 real tough hit outs this week.. not gonna be easy at all.. all 3 games very evenly matched... gonna be 3 tight contests

That's better, I wasn't really directing at you personally, I've just noticed a few GG posters piping up recently, I wish you all the best, you deserve to be excited, it has been a great season for your club in general, you have been the strongest team in each division and you would deserve to be favourites in all 3 grades.

I think that you guys should try and keep a lid on it a bit and go crazy if you get up, Greenies have the wood on you guys atm and they are a very experienced side and have some depth that they can call upon.

Having said that, all the best for Saturday, I don't think it will be a close contest though, whoever gets the early jump I reckon will run away with it, which side though, I'll wait to see where the game is and the conditions before I make a prediction. Good luck to your guys aswell Turk, the 2 best teams for the year get to battle it out.

thanks mate, your right you'd have to say they have the wood by beating us twice through out the year... but finals anything can happen..

i think in the celebrations will come if we win teh GF in all 3 grades... the plympton b grade celebrated last week like they won teh gf, so i hope they partied too early... not sure about greenies celebrations but if its half has full on as forths when he kicks a goal they would of been out of control.

save it for next week when it counts i say (altho A grades job is to get higher divs, premierships are a bonus)

Or you can do a Neil Craig and explain the 'learning curve' you's are on.. It will be 3 tight games..

Was it a tough game in the B's against Elizabeth, I see you won by 34 points, was there always a decent lead or did you guys kick away towards the end, I'd say your pace and fitness level would've got you through.

it was very tight.. only a couple points in it at half time... then an inspirational half time speach motivated our guys and we were alot better in third term... i heard they had about 5-6 a graders playing for them. so not a bad win considerin

No they didn't mate, I checked their list as I have all through the finals, I know a fair few of their team, some played a few A grade games during the year but they were legitimate B graders, they didn't apply for any permits either.

They are a very experienced side, some very smart footballers amongst them, you guys are a great B grade outfit though and have a good blend of pace, size and footy brains, you follow a game plan that suits your team. Obviously Plympton will be a big task, I did mention about 8 weeks ago on here that I thought you were beatable, they proved it last week. They too are a hard running side that follows a good game plan, this game will go down to the wire. Two young fit sides out there giving it a crack.

My guess is that the game will be at Salisbury Oval this week, this would suit GG IMO in the A's.

really? well there were several players i didnt recognise from both times we played them this year, and ive been told that they were saying that had a couple down to.. but ahwell guess not, obviously ur pretty into ur details.

plympton are a very fast running side, love to play on at every cost and run the ball down the wings, last time they killed us running out of our forward lines.... this time we will have to fix that. cant wait mate...
