Hence the "soft" tag.
shouldn't matter what time the game is played- 3am on a Wed morning should still be a sell-out

Sunny,20 degrees and Saturday afternoon football in September.....what more do they want?

Who?

This is same flaw that's in Punky's arguement. None of us know what % of the missing 13,000 was made up of:

- theatre-goers (Punky's term)
- Port Adelaide supporting SANFL members
- people involved with amatuer footy finals (or other sporting finals)

So we can't generalise. Are the people in the 3rd category "soft" because they didn't ditch their local commitments and rush off to AAMI Stadium? Try telling one of those people to their face that they are soft. Would they have turned up if it was Sat night? Mostly, yes.

Why don't we schedule Clipsal for Mon - Thur instead of the weekend and then call SA motor racing fans soft because the crowds are down. :?
In between signatures .....

I don't know who you are referring to, but it won't change my opinion that only about 33000 Crows fans rocking up to watch their team play a final was, overall, a piss-poor effort.

I know a couple from Adelaide that are Mad Crow supporters that have been season ticket holders from the beginning and they havent been to Adelaides' last few Home finals over the last few years Bcos they can't get to sit in their regular seats. Also wouldn't buy a ticket to go to Adelaides' AWAY showdown against the Power bcos they didn't want to sit amongst Power supporters bcos they would feel intimidated.
FFS!!! Now thats what i call SOFT.
