If we lost today I was never going to blame the oval.... No matter if we won or lost today the question had to be asked why that was chosen for us 2 to play on.. It was like playing beach football!! It should never have been considered for a GF venue and Tired Tiger, I do not believe for a second the SAAFL asked you guys to have it there!!! The ground was shocking!!

believe me its in better,looks better smells better, in fact everything better than your oval,,,,will ever be on a different note a blue and white team or team of cats has never won a gf at hv oval.....been plenty of hawk wins tho. modbury,mitcham,west croydon........just make sure if you win the toss.....kick towards the clubrooms or aim at the scoreboard....its the shortest way home...and the visitors changerooms(which is really really s***t also) has been photographed b4 so please dont beat it up if you loose or win,,,remember this is our club,we'll send down george if theres a prob and you dont wont that

I think the reason for a Cats team or a Blue and White team never winning there is because Ovingham had never played a GF there..

bit surprised to see Hope Valley hosting a GF. Surely in a GF you'd wanna be playing on a decent sized ground.

I'll be playing in it there and Im not to sure about it either, thats for sure.. The ground is a s***t hole to.

if you dont like it go somewhere else and play. the league asked us to have a final as grounds were in shortage. whoever wins will have very fond memories of hv oval im sure, and the losers will have some reason why they lost(the hope valley oval). good luck tothe 4 teams

No matter what a shithole the oval was, I have very fond memories of the oval!!!!! Thank-you for your bagging of 'OUR' club and 'OUR' coach all through the year because without this our we wouldnt have had half the hunger we had today!!!! I hope you have fond memories of that!!!

Yeh mate, I had a damn average game yesterday... I suppose Barry told you we all had average games other then your old mates?? Kept the 3 opponents i stood over the coarse of the game to less then 5 disposals for the game from the back pocket average.. Done my job. I'm no superstar thats for sure.. Bit fat, bit slow.. Got a couple handballs I think, a few spoils.. Got sent off for 10 minutes for running into a knobhead umpire..
Could've done a Barry and blamed my team mates but thats not my style!
