As we can tell via the increasing record breaking 'most users online' etc... this site is becoming increasingly popular.

I just wonder how people found out about the site and then joined !!

So thought I'd start a poll.

So.... How did you find out about this site and perhaps once you came across it, how long until you decided to register yourself

For me.... someone was talking about it around the footy club, so I thought I'd take a look... was registered within 3 days... loved the look of it so much

I used to lurk on FootySA....

Opted for 'other'. I found this place because there's a link to it on the Redlegs Forum.

Joined the Legs Forum in Jan 07 and lurked quietly on here as a guest until the 'Great Server Crash of 07' when the only way to see anything was to register...so I did

I would be devistated and lost if there was a 'big bang' on here !!
Or maybe I'd just get more work done

BAYMAN + MT79 those dudes are responsible for me getting on SAFOOTY.
I used to view the Gambling Room to see what was being tipped at the trots and dogs.
I enjoyed reading the yarns as well.
I viewed for several months until coaxed by BAYMAN to come on board.

Not sure about anyone else, but I had never drunk until then ( ) - the booze got me through it.

I used the Norwood site first, then searched and found footySA and signed up there.
I moved here when it foundered soon after - I think there was a period of overlap.

i came across it looking at a cricket clubs website and they had a link to the cricket forum and the rest is history as they say.

Yeah i used to post on Footy SA, and was quite annoyed/disappointed when that closed down, i heard about this new site (SA Footy) and was a bit reluctant to move over at first, but glad i did, it has a lot of stuff Footy SA didn't have eg. country footychat. Its a brilliant site
