its incidents like this that keep people away from local football

well I'm very sorry to hear that story mate..that's pretty ordinary not to mention unneccessary. I've known you and your uncle for years and you certainly wouldn't have started anything - finished it maybe but not started it

I agree, stop bagging each other but we need Cornes to stop making things worse.

JimBeam, I saw that "skinhead" act like a tosser. He stormed past me to confront you and throw a punch (after a bit of lip was exchanged). I was pissed off it occurred and noticed he turned to water when a bigger bloke (wearing a Crows jacket) pinned him down. It may be of little consolation but I have never seen this bloke before in my life and I have attended 99.9% of Centrals games for years.

Cornes and KG are shock jocks. They will deliberately overreact to something to get hte result they want. People ringing up and calling them idiots. Its worked for them for many years and will for many years to come.

I dont agree that all centrals fans are gutter trash thugs. Quite a few of them are however. Funnily enough, in my opinion they have calmed down a lot since they started winning flags. They seemed to hold a lot of spite and I both saw and was involved in a couple of terrible things in the 90s. These things tar your memory for a long time. But they arent the only ones with idiot supporters. Norwood around 2001 had a bunch of skinheads follow their games around and at the end of the match would king hit someone. They ended up getting caught by police. Port have idiot supporters...every club does.

I think from memory Cornes said that all Central's supporters were feral or something similar. My thoughts went straight to Norm Russell, I wouldn't exactly call him feral! As an Eagles supporter I have every reason to hate the doggies (in a strict football sense) however, there is no way all supporters should be tarnished with the same brush. If that was the case themn all Eagles supporters would be labeled coach abusers likey to get hit with a phone thrown by a Port Coach!!!

I do not usuallly listen to the 5aa sports show, however last night i specifically tuned in because i had a gut feeling meathead Kornsey would raise the incident at the Bay and of course bag all Central supporters !!

One thing he did not raise was that the incident started when a moronic Bay supporter harassed a coupla Doggy supporters holding up a large Doggy banner near the Glenelg player huddle.

In hindsight those two guys with the banner should of really been closer to the Doggy player huddle and cheering them up !!

But also at the same time it does give a feral tiger supporter free licence to harass opposition supporters.

Anyway this incident was controlled by security on the ground..

He went into a vitriolic tirade about banning doggy supporters from footy grounds for chanting and creating havoc, what the f##@ was he really ranting about ????

It seems to me he is quite a thin skinned idiot .

I think the real reason he was whinging was because his lovely tigers were beaten by a better team there was no mention about the game and the way the Doggies played and won !!

He was actully standing behind me and DOGGER and he did not look too happy !!!!!

Get over it Cornsey you are a sore loser.

I was incensed by his verbal bashing of supporters that i sent him an e mail re the incident and also about the incident at Elizabeth regarding the Magpies cheer sqaud .

Guess what he did not have the BALLS to read it out on air .

You are gutless Cornsey .

No wonder i do not listen to your cappy AFL show !!

1) was Cornes even at the game? If so, he probably needed a map...
2) wouldn't it be easier to ban Graham Dud-ley Cornes?

I see Cornes at quite a few Glenelg Oval games, usually most I attend there so I'd assume he's there for quite a few games every year (probably depends on media committments).
KG on the other hand I haven't seen at a SANFL game for over a decade.

Good post Macca19. Unfortunately, all clubs have a small number of dickhead "fans" who think that going to football on Saturday gives them license to heap their bad behavior on others. What is truly laughable is that certain sections of the media, use one particular club (sorry, no prize for quessing which one), to become the scapegoat for all bad behavior in the SANFL.

Radios do have an "off" switch and can change stations.

So if Dumb and Dumber are annoying you , just turn them off. that's what I did, and they never annoy me any more.

Punky yep he was at the game and looked down and out because his team was losing !!

So on Monday afternoon he decides to put down all Doggy supporters because of his teams poor performance on the day !!

I hope he shows his face at Elizabeth on the 26th August when we play the tiges again..

All DOGGY supporters be there so we really can let him have it with our incantations and chanting !!!

Chants will be louder and more annoying than ever in the Rundle Mall this year if we make the GF.
