Bookmaker PD has catergorically denied he is in collusion with others standing for election to the board of the SA Harness Racing Club
" I am an independent nomination + not part of any ticket or syndicate." PD said.
" I feel I have the experience and personal skills, along with a passion for the sport, that may help the club and industry."
A senior consultant with Mcarthur Management Services, PD sent a letter to to SAHRC members last week detailing his business background.
He also suggested it maybe wise for members to elect a woman.
" The club would be better recieved of it demonstrated a degree of gender balance and notjust being seen as a boys club." PD wrote.
Sharon Pettit and Lyn Tester are the woman nominating for the SAHRC board

My Mail has been spruiking for changes any changes that may stimulate harness racing
I reckon PD is worth a gamble[pardon the PUNter]
He has shown the galaxy that he is a survivor in the Bookmaking game
He has outstayed every bookie thats ever gone to the trots
He has used a methodology to survive at the game
Off course he is known as a very shrewd, complex and intelliGENT person
Personally I have found PD to be a nice bloke and a very good operator
Im sure putting PD on the board would or could be the impetus to success.
