I think North need any coach who can set up a winning game plan. I always felt Jars left too much up to the players on the field. He could tell them what to do in any given situation, but couldn't get any really effective game plan in place. Pagan can do that and would be the outstanding choice if he was available and willing.

This isn't a slight on Pagan or North Adelaide, but would Pagan understand SA footy culture enough to do the job?

I doubt North would pay the coin he would be asking for! It would be a big number so salary cap issues might arise.
