Which words get automatically get censored? What happens if I type in poo? Or shit? What about twat? Who makes the decision? How does it work? Does someone sit up all night & day checking for naughty words or phrases?

Hahahaha, you funny ****.

Oh, that one gets censored too.

What about; you funny ****

Good experiment centurion. :D

How's this though, on an english football forum I frequent, there was a discussion about a past Russian player who said the club I follow (with a large Jewish supporter base) was in an area that wasn't safe because of the ethnic community around it, blah, blah, blah. A hot debate ensued with people from all backgrounds being racist bastards to one another calling each other black, white, terrorists etc, etc. Anyhoo, in another thread we were commenting on out most hated players, to which I obviously replied Fabio Grosso and called him a 'cnut'. I was banned for a day for violating their 'c' word censorship. Meanwhile, the racist bastards slinging crap at one another carried on.....

Which brings me to the point of that rant.......is it acceptable to drop the 'c' word in Australia? It's certainly frowned upon by 99% in the UK.

My take is it's OK at the pub or with your mates, but not in front of Mum.

Ian Botham.....

And on the c word, where I used to work there was a young "girl" who used the c word like blokes used the word ****.

Used to be quite amusing until she called another female employee a c***

Even shocked the blokes that one....

I haven't run across much problem here but most sites seem to have an inbuilt censoring system which is very US orientated so they tend to ignore arse but intercept ass, and won't let you use bitch to specify a female canine! They also tend to not like the Latin word "cum" [with] because of its US meaning.

I assume the censorship is locally adjustable, but takes perhaps more time than most moderators think it is worth.

I don't think it's acceptable to drop the 'c' word in Australia !! [-X

And hope that it doesn't eventually become that it is :(

I can accept that it's used on building sites and the like... but please not out in 'public' at the footy etc 8-[

I was cleaning on a building site a few years ago... was about 20 men running around... and one of them dropped the 'c' word... and almost instantly about 5 of them all chimmed at the same time.... (And I can't remember exaclty, so if you know the exact saying then post it...lol) ... something like "WOB" ... and I was thinking what does that mean...lol... and apparantly it meant 'Woman on board'

O:)

Dad always taught me not to swear in mixed company, I do my best. But if the bitch starts on me I usually respond in kind.

And there is always Rodney Rude's attempt to get around the censors in Qld by saying "Get pucked you crunt". Leaves nothing to the imagination but still gets the point across.
